I promoted Fratmen many years ago but gave up on them when they never responded to emails or provided any affiliate content. I’m thinking about giving them another shot but had some questions:

The members area is confusing and members have to pay extra for downloads. Last time I was inside their live Fratpad wasn’t populated or running.
I was last inside the site in November 2015, and honestly back then, the site looked like it was on its last legs.

Plenty of others did the same but then started promoting them again a year or two later when they came back desperate for affiliates to get back on track and promising the Moon on a stick, and of course they didn’t deliver. I don’t think there’s anyone promoting them seriously right now.

A few years ago when they tried to “relaunch” with affiliates they began adding content to a new affiliate area, then they started splashing their massive logo across everything, then they stopped updating that area completely.
It’s always been a mess there, with different versions of the brand doing different things and different levels of pricing for different levels of access. Nothing ever made sense for the Fratpad/Fratmen/Fratmen Suck members. And that “vagueness” is probably deliberate, seeing as they never wanted to give members access to everything you would normally get with a membership to any other site. It seems to me they’ve always had a dodgy membership system where they give the impression the member is going to get streaming videos, live shows and downloadable content etc, but in reality you only get a fraction of what they produce and you have to pay two or three times to get full access.
We called it months ago, the brand is dead and now it’s just sat there selling off individual scenes to squeeze the last out of the brand. It’s pretty interesting to see that given that the Twitter guys for the site a few months ago were adamant that the site was “doing better than ever!” and how nothing was changing. lol

They are simply too inconsistent when it comes to affiliates. They offer promo content and working linking codes during the perid of two to three months, then they decide they need to change something and fuck the affiliates over. And then they “return” and apologize and all that. And then that repeats over and over again, over the years. I don’t promote them anymore and I don’t intend to, unless they finally decide to get their shit together and stick with it for at least several years, consistently.

They don’t sell anymore, although I still have a few steady rebills from fratmen and fratmensucks.

Thanks for the feedback. I seem to recall seeing a post from someone at Fratmen here in this forum not that long ago so maybe if they’re still around and see this they will respond.

I heard from someone last week that the guys who were there have gone their separate ways and given up on the brand completely. It’s just going to sit there selling scenes and they’ll take what they can get from it.

Fratmen has always been very, very poorly managed. We stopped promoting them some time ago.

not always. when jasun was with them, things ran pretty smoothly, but it’s been quite a while. since then the owner occasionally hires a rep who he gives no power to affect anything. they post here, then disappear, probably as they move to a less frustrating job.

I’m pretty sure there were two guys on Twitter trying some weak PR. Not sure who the other guy was but I assumed they were brought in as a partner or something to try to get it back on track. Could be wrong. Either way, it looks like whoever was involved has moved on and left the brand to sit there doing nothing of note.

The guys from GayHoopla should takeover Fratmen. I know that will probably never happen because of the history between them but then again a boy can dream.

In my opinion the brand is a strong one, but only if it’s bought and redeveloped by a business entirely separately from the original owners. The only stumbling blocks are the reputation it has and the lack of support from the webmaster community, but this could be easily solved. I think most of us would promote it again if it was bought by you guys and it offered the same quality of guys in a similar theme.
I think it would make business sense to sell, they would probably make more money doing that now while it can be redeveloped than if they just let it sit there gathering maybe a few $'s a day in scene sales.

I’m very happy to hear you say that. I was always quite proud of how well I had managed to get them from an mostly unknown site to one of the bigger sites even though we were almost exclusively solo movies.
I will admit I do occasionally miss all the fun we had in those days, but we all have to graduate from school eventually and take the training we have and move on with our chosen career path.
