Helixcash doesn't pay me never responds to support requests

Agree it is easy to find.

I see, well Helix forced all affiliates to take down all the promo videos they sent out over the years, including myself.

Very strange I wonder why

The idea was to make it more exclusive so that there isn’t anywhere you can see the videos except on the actual site. Unfortunately from what I can see in my stats it did not help sales, quite the opposite. Sales went down due to having less promo available while the conversion ratios stayed the same.

It was an interesting choice they made. They had such a loyal following from affiliates too, especially on the blogs and social etc. Gotta imagine their traffic dropped as each had less to promote with.

Hi there it’s been a long time since I posted here but I am also having similar problems with helixcash. Up til now they’ve usually been good but even using paypal my latest payment has been pending since February 1. And no response to any emails. Perhaps we should all start ringing them- this is the number given at helixcash- 702 485 2095.
How about it- most of you guys are in the US so a phone call is nothing- I have to call from way downunder! If the number is valid that is!

I can’t understand why they would do this- anyway, they still provide embed codes for their promo videos so what do you do?

How about- boyfriendtv, gayforit, gayporno and a whole string of linked tube sites and also thegay, txx and so on? For example do a search at boyfriendtv for seth peterson/model- just about every one of his helix vids is there- most are full length. Do a search on google for 1 of the latest helix vids and up come the following full length examples- only released on March 4-
at playvids and myvidster

I think the only question left after my thread as continued on this long is … now that Helix is not reliable, and their videos are all over the tubes, and they have stopped allowing us to embed promo vids…WHO DO WE REPLACE THEM WITH?

Why is there such a shortage of new twink content out of the studios? Someone with a big fat sweaty wad of cash needs to re-invent this niche and hire all 18 year olds for their creative team. Make high quality twink porn based on modern trends and culture in the young twink community. Stop appealing to old men and start selling twinks to twinks.

Pretty tough getting younger twinks to buy twinks. They don’t pay for porn. They consume via the pirated and tube versions. This younger generation is all about piracy, iptv, tubes.

With DVD going away, its very hard to be a studio in the paysite model of today. Its not a surprise to see a lot of them struggling or cutting back updates etc.

Well, younger twinks are probably not really the main customer group for paysites.
Just like young guys are not for Mercedes.

Both Corona and the Russian attack on Ukraine had multiple negative effects on the world economy. And the rise of OF and all the other cockroaches didnt help either. And i think that is quite clearly visible in sales.

And than there are sure studios which just never sold that well and now sell even less. So they struggle.

Some studio models even sell whole scenes of their work for studios in private messages on OF… and OF closes both eyes on it. Its even difficult to report as you would need first to sub to that model and even buy that content in private messages to be sure its yours.

The east european model market is also quite dry recently… hearing rumors that even BelAmi got issues to find good new guys. Which is quite concerning for all others…

So is porn dead? Nope! Its just one of those times like it was 2008 and sure studios need to rethink a bit. Like the rise of colombian models seems to be very obvious if i look to some studios.

we’ve not seen a downturn in models this year. could happen at any time though i guess. harder to find guys without tattoos though

Definitely harder without the tattoos these days.

Yeah and nearly no one likes tattoos (from the customer base) i guess.

That’s not my experience at all. Millennials and especially zoomers are more than happy to pay for porn, I’d bet a lot of money that they actually pirate content less than older folks.

The difference is that they rather support creators directly (e.g. via onlyfans, fansly and similar sites) instead of paying a company that pays its actors peanuts for a scene and then rakes in the profits for years to come.

And a lot of actors caught on to the fact that OF is way more profitable for them. Sure, some do a few scenes with big studios to get their names out there but you won’t find many that don’t also do OF because as an even semi-decent looking twink you easily make thousands every month on OF.

Offering actors an incentive to work with them will quickly become the biggest challenge for studios when OF cuts out the middle-man so conveniently.

Another challenge will be to finally get with the times and diversify their cast but that’s a completely different topic.

Don’t bet your money, you’d lose.

Wow that’s a radically false generalization if I ever heard one. I’m so sick of this bullshit about the “poor models” and the generalization that studios are the “bad guys” making millions of dollars exploiting them. Many studios (including ours) pay models top dollar. How many occupations would offer a job that pays hundreds of dollars per hour to do something that is both enjoyable and helps grow the person’s private business at the same time? Models these days have it so easy, and while I am happy that they now have the opportunity to earn more revenue streams and we are happy to work with them and help them in that capacity, I don’t for a second buy this garbage how we are “raking in” millions of dollars; quite the opposite, as many studios that are honest will tell you, it takes a LOT of hard work to make ANY profit in this day and age for a studio. And I do think that there are many people out there happy to support a studio if they treat the models well for both the variety of guys on offer as well as the higher quality experience.

We spend many thousands of dollars per month on content, while the models pay $0 for their OnlyFans content and all the money they earn is pure profit. Meanwhile we (the studios) have to pay for employees, software, hosting, affiliates and many other expenses. Many times, we pay the models top dollar, promote them to our hundreds of thousands of followers, and we can’t even get as much as a retweet or mention out of them. I am not speaking for all models here, but many if not most are very greedy in my experience; fortunately there are some great exceptions and those are the ones that we try to work with the most.

Well said, people forget how much money goes into paying for employees, hosting, bills, accounting… and let alone how many people who depend on those jobs. Fan sites is the absolute opposite, it benefits no one except the model and the fan site. It doesn’t support any adult entertainment jobs or the porn industry. I myself employ 4 people full time, pay a lot for hosting, pay an accountant, lots of taxes… and I know no one is making millions by exploiting anyone.

Personally I think once porn studios or even affiliate sites disappear, people will suddenly realize what they have lost and stuck with a very limited and boring choice.

Without the studios, most of the performers on OF would not have the fan base they enjoy now. The scenes they do with the studios - the very ones that the studios promote all over the place - are what puts their names in the minds of the visitors. There is a HUGE difference in the quality of the shoots. Most of what I have seen from OF is like the homemade porn of years past. It is cheap to produce but nothing like the real thing. With OF type sites, you are depending on a very fickle audience. Maybe this month you are in, but next month you are a has-been. If the performer doesn’t get out there and hustle enough, their subs don’t renew and that takes time and skill. They don’t have affiliates helping to spread the word.

Generally, I would agree about the quality of OF content, but there are a growing number of models that now use professional production teams as well and the content is quite good, but most of these guys seem to want to open their own membership sites as well…
