So why don’t you issue a press release and send it to XBIZ? Seriously, I’d at least send a note to XBiz at the press release e-mail address. And there is a phone number and e-mail address in that press release, I’d contact them as well. The more of a stink you start to make, the more likely you are to get your money.

I finally heard back from them!! They said that they not recieved any of my (countless) previous emails. I think what did it, is that I cc;ed the video distributor on my last email to them.
i don’t mean to revive a dead thread but i just saw that AMG has apparently redone their website. (it’s old news but i just saw it). i see that a “New Affiliate Program Coming Soon!”
are people still out money?
if they are it’s too bad cuz i’ve always been a MAJOR fan of that ‘classic’ look.
I would not recommend using them. They still owe me money but do not respond to any emails. I kept emailing them for several months, never getting replies then finally i get:

As I said several times, this is going to take some time. Thanks for your understanding. The figures in our affiliate program are wrong, and we are trying to find out why.

take some times to them means months!
Then I get…

All we show is that we owe you $8.94 in active NOT PAID status. Generally we only send a check when the amount reaches over $25. You mentioned something about another 500 something, but only that figure we see is the amount already paid out in the past (501.16), the accumulation of past payments. This is similar to your accumulated clicks that you have had so far (25,106) So yes, we are delinquent on $8.94 and we’ll get that right out to you. You also have a few signup payouts in the pending status, not included in the $8.94. These will be sent out in a separate check.

Which is utter rubbish, I keep track of every single $ and know exactly what I’m owed. I wouldnt be in business if I didnt keep track of sponsors.
After that I never got any response. Den doesnt feel its important to pay what is owed and could not care less.
Stay away from these idiots.

Ask to see a copy of that canceled check for $501.16.
That is if you can actually get him to respond…
So his affiliates numbers are messed up, he doesn’t know why, but he knows for certain that he has paid you $501.16 and owes you $8.94, but the numbers are wrong.
Interesting.
If he was going to play the “everything is messed up game,” he should have at least been smart enough to not use the numbers in his favor and then claim they are messed up when they need to be in your favor.
when i last reviewed the site the videos they were adding for updates weren’t classic videos - they were modern porn videos.

Very good idea there, except he doesnt respond. Rather than dealing with it he ignored me. I most definitly through our correspondance got the feeling that Affilaites are not anything cares about and that he has much more very important things to deal with.
What really got me going is that he doesnt feel owing people money is a problem or something that needs to be addressed instead ignoring it.

Yes, I’m fairly sure I wasn’t the only one with problems. I’m guessing that they had issues with the affilaite system and rather than solve it just closed it and moved on, without paying any affiliates.
when i first heard of the sale to the new owners i was excited cuz i thought AMG must have a tremendous library and the new company could simply remaster and release that content over time. (From what i’ve heard though, the library probably needs the skills of experienced archivist) but rather than protecting and reviving the AMG brand the immediately when Brazilian.
The MBA in me just sees so many mistakes that have been made there that it makes me want to cry.

Agreed. What did the new owners pay for if they decided to take the company in a completely new direction?
GayDemon is wise to track the programs that he promotes. For me lately, not one or two months go by where I just happen to discover tracking problems, reporting problems or that my original links have stopped working.
I think that affiliate programs often are installed out of the box, and the programmers who make alterations to the site make honest mistakes. Perhaps this extends to the sales reporting that they recieve as well.
