PeterFever’s ‘Sexpig Game’ Parody Tweaks Stereotypes

WebMediaProz’ PeterFever flagship has once more come up with a porn parody that breaks and challenges harmful stereotypes with its new SEXPIG GAME. The gay adult takeoff of the massively popular streaming phenomenon SQUID GAME brings a playful, sex-positive treatment to counter ingrained attitudes of cultural puritanism, sexism and homophobia in the Korean thriller series. SEXPIG GAME premieres Tuesday, November 23 on PeterFever.com.
ZBuckz/WebMediaProz CEO Danny Zeeman has brought a light, sexy touch to recent PeterFever parodies of romantic comedy, superhero epics, and gritty urban drama, in vehicles like SEXY RICH GAYSIANS, GAYVENGERS, THE BLACK PANDA and THE DEUCE. In the process, these parodies tweaked the anti-sex attitudes, sexism and homophobic themes prevalent in their genres. THE SQUID GAME is a prime target for such a reimagining, since the series’ dour treatment of sexual relations and its villainous, predatory gay VIP character have drawn attention and criticism. The SEXPIG GAME recasts its games as an internal battle of happy, sex-driven gays fighting for a huge cash payout and the hot, NSA sex they’ve based their lives upon.
SEXPIG GAME features a primarily Asian-American cast, with a single Caucasian model in the five-person mix. Hard-muscled blond newcomer Trent Marx plays the horny VIP who longs to join the game and get in on the abundant XXX action. Rave Hardick is the porn veteran who plays the secretive Front Man of the game, with debuting models Dane Jaxson, Danny Ice and Nolan Knox featured as game players and the Guard. The series was lensed at CCBC, the Palm Springs-area clothing optional resort whose attitude of sexual freedom meshes well with THE SEXPIG GAMES’ own ethos. Direction is by Guy Criss, who brought his lush vision and sardonic eye to PeterFever’s other highly-rated porn takeoffs.
Zeeman explains his inspiration in taking on the horny parody:
“Like many in the LGBTQ community, I was disappointed in this series by (amongst other things) the homophobic portrayal of “gay Americans” as evil VIPs paying to watch people die in the games and then the attempted gay rape of the one “good” character in the series, the policeman.
With the help of our great cast and crew, we set out to twist this narrative of negative stereotypes of the LGBTQ community around. Our parody ridicules the absurdity of the original while still managing to capture all the hot and sexy fantasies that come to mind between the guards, players and VIP!”
Lead actor in the PeterFever series makes his studio porn debut with THE SEXPIG GAME. Asian model Dane Jaxson is a gay social media star with 350K followers to his Twitter account @DaneJaxson.
