there are probably simpler ways if you’re running a basic reality/video site where pics, description and video are all part of a single update. the important thing with a wordpress membership site is to be sure to check for security updates.
i’ve reviewed a number of paysites using wordpress, and some don’t add any plugins or do anything you wouldn’t do for a regular wordpress blog.
