Who's you're #1 sponsor and what % of your income do you get from them?

I would love to see that spread sheet RawTOP.
In all fairness though, do you think the reason for your top site’s performance could partially be attributed to the fact their affiliate program is not ‘completely open’ so they haven’t reached a ‘saturation point’ with their sites and content yet? I think we have to look at the big picture to know why some sites convert better then others, for example:

 • Does the site have exclusive content?
 • How many affiliates are promoting the site? In my experience new sites or lesser known sites will convert better then a site that is well known that everyone already promotes.

Now having posed these questions, what exactly do you think it is that makes your top site convert better? Is it the content (hotter guys etc.)? Is it something about the design of the tour? Or do you think it’s something completely different? Of course we’re all interested in getting our sites to convert better. :)
My top site is TIMFuck. I used to think the reason it sold was branding, and I’m sure that’s a huge part of why it’s successful. It has a bit of unique content, but Treasure Island has put their content out there on a number of other sites.

My second top site is Raw Fuck Club. If I were on PPS rather than rev share it would be my top site. Dark Alley isn’t nearly as strong of a brand a Treasure Island which is why I don’t think the top sites can be explained solely based on branding. Yes, I was one of the first affiliates and that probably did make a difference, but there’s more to it than that.

Neither site has a closed affiliate program. Well, TIMs is temporarily closed while they migrate to a new affiliate program - but it was essentially open for years. Damian has also recruited pretty much all the major bareback-friendly affiliates for RFC. So I don’t think a limited number of affiliates explains things either.

Exclusive content helps, but that’s not everything either. PPV’s Bareback Box is on the list of my 9 top performers - it has no exclusive content. What it has is a ton of good content at a low price point.

Just to put things in perspective - TIMFuck & RFC each sold 24 times what HDK Raw sold, and Bareback Box sold about 7 times what HDK Raw sold.

So yes, fresh and/or unique content helps. Branding helps. Well-known porn stars isn’t something I’ve gone into, but I can see in my data where that helps as well. But I think another big item is the tour and the join page - does the tour really make the content pop, and is the join page easy and the credit card processing easy and not too strict?

One other thing - only one of my top 9 performing sites is on NATS. The others are DHD (1), PPV’s proprietary system (4), CCBill (2) and MPA3 (1). I’m starting to wonder if there isn’t something about NATS inhibits conversion. I mean I push a lot of NATS-based sites, but only a few do well. I’m not sure - it’s just a variable that hasn’t been nailed down yet.

We do have some new tours coming soon for both HDKRaw and HDKCentral so I’ll be looking for your feedback on them. I’ll also be interested to see how you do on our new SDBoy and Boykakke tours, which I don’t think you are promoting much at the moment. I’d like to move our position in your top 5 to at least the top 3!
