Who's you're #1 sponsor and what % of your income do you get from them?

Just curious which sponsors are on the top of the heap… In my case it’s PPV Networks. I get about 30% of my income from just them (33% last month, 29% YTD). Sometimes I’m worried that’s too much from one source, but it’s not like I’m going to return the money

Re: Who’s you’re #1 sponsor and what % of your income do you get from them?

I have learned not to depend on one or two sponsors the hard way. I am trying to spread it out over as many sponsors as possible.

Number 1 is Boyfriend Bucks : 19% of my income

Re: Who’s you’re #1 sponsor and what % of your income do you get from them?

I always seem to do better with the smaller amateur-type sites than the big mega-sites. Sometimes I think that most of you guys are busy promoting the Corbin Fishers of the world so I can sneak in and make money promoting the lessor known guys. That’s fine by me!

Re: Who’s you’re #1 sponsor and what % of your income do you get from them?

Interesting question! I’m spread fairly thing which I prefer… well if you don’t count CCBill as a single “sponsor” or revenue source.

CCBill: 30%
Buddy Profits 6.5%
Cash Kaboom 5%
Gunz Blazing: 4.5%
Kinky Dollars: 2.5%
Intense Cash: 2%

Buddy Profits pretty much swapped places with Guns Blazing over the last 2 years.

Re: Who’s you’re #1 sponsor and what % of your income do you get from them?

I’m spread fairly as well, here’s my top 5 for the past year:

CCBill: 25%
Cash Kaboom: 15%
BuddyProfits: 10%
IntenseCash: 9%
GunzBlazing: 8%

Re: Who’s you’re #1 sponsor and what % of your income do you get from them?

I don’t see CCBill as a sponsor. CCBill is made up of many sponsors. Are there sponsors within CCBill that are big enough to get on the list?

Re: Who’s you’re #1 sponsor and what % of your income do you get from them?

Trust me, having 30% of my income from PPV Networks isn’t intentional. It’s just their sites convert better than anyone else’s… The one good thing is that Damian is my best friend. If something is going wrong with his business, I’ll be the first to know.

Re: Who’s you’re #1 sponsor and what % of your income do you get from them?

Chaosmen is my biggest sponsor within CCBill making up for 8% of total CCBill sales. That’s roughly 2% of my total revenue for the year.

Re: Who’s you’re #1 sponsor and what % of your income do you get from them?

cc bill 30%
buddy profits 15%
VPN networks 15%
Gunzblazing 5%

Re: Who’s you’re #1 sponsor and what % of your income do you get from them?

I want to be on these lists

How can I get your biz? I can pay any one in this thread PPS.

Re: Who’s you’re #1 sponsor and what % of your income do you get from them?

Since others have shared more than their #1

PPV Networks - 29%
[CCBill - 25% - not really a sponsor]
Treasure Island - 15%
My Gay Cash - 10%
Jake Pays - 7%
ZBuckz - 5%

Great advice. That applies to your sites, traffic, billers, cams, porn/mainstream as well. Spread it out.

I learned that the hard way last year : (

Re: Who’s you’re #1 sponsor and what % of your income do you get from them?

No, the largest CCBill sponsor is Sean Cody who accounts for 1.5% of all sales.

I noticed you have Treasure Island on your list. I tried to signup with them recently and they said their program is closed until they have finished their revamp (and move to CCbill I think)?

Re: Who’s you’re #1 sponsor and what % of your income do you get from them?

Interesting - so no big CCBill sponsors…

Contact them again. From what I’ve heard they just fired their entire tech staff, which means their plans to migrate away from DHD may have been scrapped. But with DHD can’t you just sign up without their input if you already have another DHD account? I was hoping to meet Matt Mason at Phoenix Forum, but apparently he didn’t go. I did meet Damon Dogg (nice guy), but he’s now with Factory Videos, not TIM.

Re: Who’s you’re #1 sponsor and what % of your income do you get from them?

just curious, i see a lot of the same guys as your top sponsors which is cool, but i’d like to see hazecash in people’s lists. can you guys tell me what % of income is it for you guys?

Re: Who’s you’re #1 sponsor and what % of your income do you get from them?

There is one thing that always bothers me about these threads,

Its always ‘What sponsor’ not ‘What sites’ - if a ‘sponsor’ has one site, and your sending 10,000 clicks a week, its going to convert better. If a ‘sponsor’ has 50 sites and your still sending 10k a week to that ‘sponsor’ your not going to achieve the same results, and the clicks : site is lower…

Richard’s right, and I’ll add that even within the same sponsor different sites will usually convert differently even if they’re the same niche. Trick is more to figure out which ones convert best and optimise for that.

I know what you’re saying… Before I went to Phoenix Forum I did a spreadsheet of sponsor sites, how much I made on each YTD and last year, conversion ratios, etc. As I’d talk to sponsors I’d bring out that list. There were two big bareback sites at the top of the list that were neck and neck. The #3 site(which was mostly condom, BTW) earned half what the top two were making. Then #4-9 earned roughly 1/4th to 1/3rd what the top two sites earned and then it dropped off from there.

My Gay Cash had the best response to the spreadsheet. I pointed to the numbers and said these two sites are earning triple what your best site makes - I promote them about the same - it’s not just about brand recognition - I think you can do better. Seeing a competitor do 3x better really seemed to make an impact to Roger. I think he’ll figure out ways to improve so everyone makes more money.

But after doing that spreadsheet what I see is revenue is driven by particular sites. Even in my example, the #6-10 sites are excellent sites, but they pale in comparison to the two at the top of the list. So, it’s unlikely a sponsor will be making money evenly off 6-10 sites.

Ill hit you up today!

Re: Who’s you’re #1 sponsor and what % of your income do you get from them?

Seeing a competitor do 3x better really seemed to make an impact to Roger. I think he’ll figure out ways to improve so everyone makes more money.

In all fairness though, do you think the reason for your top site’s performance could partially be attributed to the fact their affiliate program is not ‘completely open’ so they haven’t reached a ‘saturation point’ with their sites and content yet? I think we have to look at the big picture to know why some sites convert better then others, for example:

  • Does the site have exclusive content?
  • How many affiliates are promoting the site? In my experience new sites or lesser known sites will convert better then a site that is well known that everyone already promotes.

Now having posed these questions, what exactly do you think it is that makes your top site convert better? Is it the content (hotter guys etc.)? Is it something about the design of the tour? Or do you think it’s something completely different? Of course we’re all interested in getting our sites to convert better.
