what exactly IS Yahoo! Slurp?

okay, 1% of my hits are from Yahoo! Slurp, so i was wondering exactly what it is and what it’s slurping. i know one guy on another board was really annoyed about it, but i don’t even know enough to know IF i should be annoyed :smiley:

It’s their crawl robot, just as googlebot is Google’s.

wow, really? funny because the site isn’t that many pages - yahoo slurp seems to spend more time there than i do LOL

well, they may be slurping, but they’re not listing. that domain has only a single page listed so far :frowning:

You either get a good listing on google or yahoo, but rarely both.
