video resolution for blogs / freesites?

what is the smallest video you would consider using on your blogs or free sites? while i prefer to keep them 400 pixels wide up to 480 for a 1 minute clip, enough programs still offer only 320x240’s, and i can live with them.

so what’s the lowest res vids you’ll use on your blogs, freesites or avs sites?

also while we’re at it, will you use widescreen video clips or do you prefer something with a little more height vs width?

I usually do flash videos at 400px but I set the flash player to display them at 450px. The video doesnt lose much quality while the size isn’t too big.
