Remember a few years ago when Arvixe started collapsing around us and several webmasters were freaking out about their failures and lack of customer service?
I moved some things over to ukcheaphosts.com and had maybe one little glitch and someone here said something along the lines of “you get what you pay for”.
It’s pretty rare for people to want to share good providers, we usually only let each other know when something goes bad. And, let’s be honest, a lot of the time people share positive things because we’re promoting a service or getting something out of it.
Well, I would like to let everyone know that they’ve turned out to be the best hosting company we’ve ever used.
I’m not saying this to get anything out of it and I hope it doesn’t seem spammy, they are genuinely pretty great and I wanted to share some good news about a provider for once.
Things started to exceed limits on our most popular site a couple days ago and they boosted everything up (for a little extra a month, pennies really). Today we noticed everything had slowed again and got in touch and it was apparently an error on their part, they’d dropped the resources to upgrade our capability and forgot to increase it again. They’ve just given us 400% more CPU and 4gb ram to make up for it, now they’re monitoring it for 24 hours to make sure everything is good.
Honestly, it’s so damn rare to find a host who is so helpful, especially in the adult business. They’re not technically adult hosts, but they took on our little blog and they’ve helped us to grow it into a profitable website.
So, there you go, in a sea of sharks there are some genuinely good providers out there, ready to help out. I think the good guys in this business deserve to be rewarded so if you’re ever looking for some incredibly affordable hosting for a new blog or something I hope you’ll consider them, I’m sure they’ll give you the same great service we’ve had.
