Exactly, that’s what a good tour is for. A trial should give customers the possibility to see how the site works and what the quality of the content is… either unlimited or limited in a way (but clearly stated)

Not intending to be mean or anything, but for the amount of content on there and the fact that it’s no longer updating, I would not be paying more than $25 for that, at the MOST.

first off, nicky - drop the trials if you want to make money. as a consultant, it’s the first thing i have most people do, and with every one of my clients that’s increased their income right off the bat. that way, even if the memberships don’t recur, you have the initial membership money in hand rather than a buck. after all, the point of a trial of anything is to give you a real taste of something you’ll like enough to pay more to get more of. with porn, usually you’ll lose less than 50% of signups, most of which are for a buck, but each signup will pay 25x or more so it works out very favorably. some sites only lost 20% of their total signups by losing the trial.
sell 60 non-converting trials per month = $60
sell 40 $29.95 memberships per month = $1198
everyone else - it might surprise you to know that some trials on porn sites give no access to the videos at all, or only the first clip of the videos. it’s not just this site. however it’s mostly a money-making strategy if the site can promise tons of bonuses to tempt people in, and their primary money-makers are from cross sales, upsales, their email list, sites on pop-ups and things like live cams. and even then, it doesn’t seem those programs are as healthy as they used to be.

No matter how you slice it its all shady activity over there.
The only thing you have to look at is the fact that they don’t automatically cancel a customers account the very second the customer requests it. Putting it in a “queue” for a “customer service rep to process” is totally code for “we see you want to cancel but we will let this ‘request’ sit here for to until the rep (that I’m sure doesn’t exist) gets around to it.” (Hoping you will just forget and let them bang your card for the next year.)
It’s 2015. Not 2005. When someone hits cancel it should cancel right then and there with no hassle. Unless of course you are trying to rip people off.
