Not sure how many of you actually BUY your themes, or how many simply try out the many thousands of free themes for your Wordpress blogs, but one of the more recent issues, has been the addition of Malware, within the theme code itself.
Given how security conscious we have become, this is an interesting read on the [SIZE=3]anatomy of a theme malware[/SIZE].
Personally, I don’t understand much of it, as I am not geeky enough, I guess. What I do know, is that I do download new themes, only from the theme repository now. Same for the plug in repository, as they really confuse me, so better safe than sorry.
