Channel 1 Releasing is seeking a Flash Developer to work on a number of projects including live video, video on demand, and live chat. The developer will be responsible for designing and implementing user interfaces as well as developing rich media applications.
Preference will be given to a candidate who can demonstrate a strong working knowledge of integrating Flash into a Ruby on Rails application, or someone with extensive knowledge of Flash Media Server. We are looking for the following candidates:
Experience Required
- 2 years developing Flash applications
- 2 years working in a team-based environment
- 1 year (minimum) working with Flash Media Server
- Extensive knowledge of Actionscript 3 and object-oriented programming
- Prior experience integrating a rich Internet app with a web app (Rails, PHP, or Python preferred)
- Ability to work in quick iterations with strict deadlines

- Object-Oriented Actionscript 3
- Expert fluency in Javascript

- Strong understanding of web standards
