I’ve been out of the loop for a while and don’t hang around adult affiliate boards being that I only promote on a part-time basis these days, but I have noticed a significant drop in the amount of programs who send out affiliate content mailers.
Am I simply not getting the Newsletters or are that many programs dropping out of the picture?
I have received warnings from others about not dealing with certain programs who have questionable payout records, etc, and other than a few bad apples the majority are still paying me regularly. I do notice several programs aren’t using Paxum anymore and I think we know why that is.
Can someone help me get into the loop with this? Thanks very much.
We paused for 2 weeks due to changes in staff and some serious modifications to our websites, but resumed yesterday and will be weekly again from now on.
Affiliate content was posted every 2-3 days on http://blog.homoactivecash.com and here on Gaydemon.biz in the affiliate content section.

You and I have tried to fix my Intense Cash mailer issue before Mark. Just doesn’t seem to happen. But I know where to get content when I need it. Thanks.

I guess what I was wondering is - why has there been such a drop in mailers from other programs? Because I haven’t been on the boards much I haven’t been in the loop regarding how many programs have dropped out of the market recently.
I think a lot of sponsors send them from servers that are blacklisted for spam. Which means they don’t get through to the affiliates. I’ve stopped telling them their newsletters aren’t getting through 'cause they just stop a few months later for the same reason. (But seriously why bother if they’re not gonna get through?) Then there are the sponsors who send 2 or 3 of every newsletter. (Sponsors - dedupe your email lists!)
We send out a newsletter once a week with promo tools of all our sites. Maybe you haven’t registered to our program yet

Great thread and also nice to see so many active Affiliate Programs! I was thinking it might be useful to ‘sticky’ a thread where we listed all of the gay programs that are actively sending out weekly newsletters. I know when I was doing affiliate promotion this was the main criteria for me to promote a program.
