Hello. Last month I joined justfor.fans and have been happy with the results with traffic coming from either personal friends and my twitter.
Currently I’ve got 30 scenes on my justfor.fans site with a subscription price of 9.99 per month. I’m adding 12 new scenes a month of content.
$25 for three months and $50 for 6 months.
I’m updating three times a week Tuesday, Friday and Saturday with new content. The context is a mix of vanilla and kink/fisting.
At some point I’ll increase my prices to $15 a month.
Downloads that I offer run between 2.99 to 7.99.
If you are interested in promoting and need promotion content let me know. I have not created anything just yet. If I do make anything I’ll post it here.
Congratulations, hope it works out for you. But as Ive mentioned before the commission of 10% is very low. For example if I sell a 3 month membership for your site it gives me $2.5 commission. If I sell a 3 month membership to a normal paysite I would probably get around $30-50 depending on their price.
Thank you, If it keeps growing the same as it did last month then I’ll start producing content exclusive to justfor.fans as well as sell exclusive merchandise.
On fistingtwinks I usually get 25% and after production cost making thousands.
I’m adding 12 scenes a month for the next 15 months to the justfor.fans/thesethtyler page.
I’ll add exclusive content to the page as it grows.
I’m posting 2 to 3 times a week and have increased my price to $25 a month. Currently I’ve got 187 videos. A new video is posted every Friday and Sunday with occasion vids posted Wednesday or Thursday. 80+ models are featured.
That’s the problem, $2.50 vs $10-20 for promoting a normal site that would also rebill at a similar amount. But I can understand if it makes sense to you to have it as it gives you a different revenue source.
We did massive promotions for a few months for JFF, and I think our “best” month for commissions was about $60. Unsustainable for us.
As everyone here knows, I am all for a more equitable profit share that gives producers, models and affiliates a more even piece of the pie but we can make way more money on pretty much any other site regardless of the arrangement. We even make more money in our Adult Empire Cash store.
Yes, I’ve got a similar experience. I think the most I ever made was about the same in a month. It’s a shame because they sites/profiles are different and quite good in some cases.
This is the problem with that business model, it might be more affordable for the fan and a great income for the performer, but they’re asking us to promote them with the same amount of work for a fraction of the usual benefit. That’s just not sustainable for affiliates.
The only way I can imagine an affiliate relationship would work with a performer is if we were selling ad space, rather than relying on a cut of sales.
I started to give JFF a try (again) exactly one month ago and I’ve made $67.00 and while that’s far from impressive, I am impressed with the number of sales… (that is considering the amount of traffic I am sending).
The stats at JFF are pretty basic and only shows actual sales, so it’s impossible to talk about ratios but I hardly send anything other than Twitter traffic to JFF pages. I wonder how well those fan pages rebill… can’t tell because this is only the 1st month.
It would be cool if performers could decide about the affiliate share themselves, as I am sure many wouldn’t mind raising the percentage if that would result into more affiliate traffic. On the other hand, it might be difficult to implement for JFF and hard for affiliates to keep track.
