How to find out what domains a person owns

I recently started a job with an organization that definitely should NOT know anything about the gay porn blogs I own and run. I think I’ve been pretty good about using private registration or listing domains under my company name over the years, but I have so many domains its possible some may have fallen through the cracks and my real name is showing up on some ICANN or whois record search.

Is there a way to use some form of a whois search where I can type in my real name and see if any domains pop up associated with it? I did a Google search on this and didn’t really find anything. This would be quicker than checking the ICANN record individually for every domain I own.

I suppose if there is no way to get this information then I should be safe at my new job. But if they know of a way to see if I own any websites by searching my name, I’d like to know how they can do that so I can do my own search and change the records if needed.

Yes there used to be whois.sc but that now redirects to http://whois.domaintools.com/ I put in Seancody.com and theres lots of info available if someone pays for it, like this http://research.domaintools.com/research/hosting-history/?q=seancody.com

Im no expert but my advice is to buy new hosting on a totally different server, something cheap like hostgator, and throw some non adult domains there.
I’ve started some mainstream stuff and I put it on completely different hosting so they dont share the same server as my adult stuff.
Also I think a new job is more concerned over your facebook and social media pages than anything else. I put my real name on Facebook and twitter and posted some family friendly selfies on there. If you search for me youll see those come out on top just like when you search for anyone else. I dont think anyone would dig much deeper than that.

So if you’re concerned about a job finding out about the adult stuff, I think it would be a good idea to have some innocuous social media posts under your name out there just to throw anyone off track

Re: How to find out what domains a person owns

You could just google your name, or the name you used to register domains, I once found a bunch that I had forgotten to register as private.

However, there used to be a board member here who could dig up the goods on anyone, whether they had private registration or not.

Isn’t there more than one person with your name in the world? If someone finds out you could just deny it’s yours.

Actually me real name is very unique… I’m definitely not a “John Smith”. But I’m sure there probably is someone else that has my name so Bjorn your suggestion makes sense. If my employer finds any adult websites registered under my real name I’ll just claim its not me.

By the way, my boss is actually involved with domain name registration for my company so that’s why I imagined he might do a search for me some time when he was bored or something. You never know.
