Randyblue has been one of my best converters and moneymakers since 2004. But since June 15th this year, nothing. Not one signup. I thought it was due to my overall bad June sales, but I guess not.
So how is RB converting for you now, and if it does what are your traffic sources (freesites, blogs or something else)?

Mainly blogs and some freesites and I’m converting about 1:1000 in the last month

For me the ratio is 1:2908 for the period from June 1st till now.
But as I said, since June 15th, nothing at all

I’m around 1:900 for the same period since June 1st. July sales have been good so far. My traffic is from my own TGP galleries.
I havent promoted RB that much recently because I find their weekly content kits hard to work with. Not enough interesting photos and the promo clips are too small.
Maybe you should try replacing it with one of the other hunk niche sites out there, I’m sure you will do better than 1:2908 with them.

I don’t send a lot of traffic to Randy Blue so I’m probably not the best one to chime in, but so far this year I’m about 1:608

Funny you should ask. I was just thinking about that the other day.
I just checked my stats and compared this years sales (predicted sales) with last years and they are pretty much the same.
2007; 1 in 536, with $0.10 per click
2008; 1 oin 577, with $0.09 per click
(this includes TGP/FHG gallery traffic which would bring down the average ratio)
Both first time sales and rebills are the same.
I’m actually surprised, I would have thought that Randy Blue had declined a bit due to being older and maybe getting boring. But it seems its still going strong.

Average 2008:
1:298 (raw) 1:256 (unique) $/unique: .21
Average 2007:
1:382 (raw) 1:333 (unique) $/unique: .17

Nice stats! The ones I qoutes are uniques.
Looking at gaydemon and JUB it definitly seems like Randy is doing just fine.

I wish I could say the same
But my traffic isn’t nearly as steady as JUB’s or Gaydemon’s. So maybe I should wait a bit and see how it does.

I mostly promote RandlyBlue through Reviews and normal directory listings which always will have higher ratios. But I also use TGP galleries but they convert far worse.
Do you guys use the FHG? Maybe its just a case of them looking old and tired since a lot of people use them already?

Ben uses freesites mainly I think. I think ratios can be made worse if you use their hosted flash clips as that counts a click (from what Ive heard) which in all honesty, isnt very fair.
I also think also sites like JUB and Gaydemon will have a loyal following of fans who trust what they say about paysites, and if those guys give it the thumbs up, their much more likely to try it out. Thats a world away from freesites.

Exactly what Marcjacob said - I use freesites but I use the same pics that are containted in their hosted galleries.
It worked until June 15…

Not tons of traffic, but 1:1700 last month and 1:1950 this month, or thereabouts. So, about the same, basically. I like the rebills, so I go revshare.

I have to say that I’m surprised that Randy Blue has such a bad conversion ratio. Ours is similar, but I thought it had to be a mistake. I always thought they were one of the juggernauts of porn. Especially considering how much promotional material they produce. They must have pretty good retention to be able to produce so much content.
