Epoch Changed Their Link Codes?

When did Epoch change their link codes? The links used to look like this…

hits.epochstats.com/hit.php?s=343&p=2&w=106201&c=0

now they look like this…

hits.epochstats.com/hits.php?clc=1e1af205a120429276b5a3b03bc7f55a&id=106201

You can’t add &u= to the new links to redirect to a different page like you used to, so it’s less of a flexible format than it was before. Anyone have an idea when this went into place and why they made the change?

Re: Epoch Changed Their Link Codes?

They didn’t send any emails to us about it, first I’ve seen it.

It seems they changed the old links too. The &u is ignored now and just goes to the default link page. GRRRR.

I haven’t heard about this either

&u= is still working on the old-style links…

Example Link to UKNM

Ok, you are right. Helps if I test a page that still exists.

Ugh, that is a bad link too. That link is going to a dead /tour page on an old, unused tour. All generic affiliate links now direct to our new tour and a script sorts out which affiliate join page to show (Epoch or CCbill).

Old deep links will still work properly and we’ll keep those pages up for all eternity.
