How long (height) should a picture collage be? I’ve seen some that are about 2300 pixels long, some around 1200, and some shorter & longer.
Is there a good height, that converts best, or is it just random?
Does it vary from say a static site, to when used in a blog?
Any opinions, thoughts?

I don’t think height is as much an issue as the file size in kilobytes is. That said, I generally try to keep them under 2000 pixels most of them time.

QueerClick is a finally honed machine and their collages are running between 4000 and 6000 pixels. I would think that they have probably experimented with a lot of sizes and settles on the ones selling best.
