I was just checking my Fratmen links and noticed in my browser window the message “File not found” pops up for a second before eventually going to the site. I’ve never seen this before with any CCBill links. Logically I would assume this means that my affiliate ID is not being recognized or there is a typo in the link, but I checked and everything looks correct. Here are the links I tried (I replaced my ID with 123456):
What kind of idiot actually uses ASP? I don’t promote them seriously after they reduced affiliate payments to 1% without telling anybody, effectively thieving traffic. Just filler content now… don’t trust them because what they did was Sheisty, Shiesty, Shiesty. If John offered another blogger and I a cash settlement for being a traffic thief and canceling rebills then I might promote them heavily again.
There was always issues getting a hold of them in the past but lately when I contacted them they have been very fast in replying. I have promoted them since their start and never has my % rate downgraded.
Hi MSM… I had a very similar thing happen with my Squirtz links via Bonobo the other day. Just seemed to hang up in the browser… that night when I got home from the other job, I checked again and was working fine. Probably just a hickup.
I’ve actually been using this link format, which I swear I got from the Fratcash site last year but now its been replaced by the one above (and does not work today either):
Fratcash has been pulling shady crap for eons now. Good luck in getting a response MSM. Myself and all other affiliates I know haven’t received responses to inquiries for a long, long time.
I checked mine too and they are going through okay.
As for being shady, I thought they were working on cleaning up their act recently. It seemed that when they started FratMen Sucks they suddenly realized that they did need affiliates after all and started changing back the pay ratios for those who requested it.
I was one of them. I signed up to promote them years ago and stopped when I saw they’d lowered the pay out to pretty much nothing without informing me.
As I understand it, guys wanted to give them another chance - because the content is so good too. But I am keeping my eye on that payout amount!
I haven’t had issues with them ever. I’m not really sure what’s shady here as much as I can remember there was an affiliate newsletter once about new links… it must have been quite some time ago…
