Did anyone else notice that the CCBill rebills for all Bigstr properties vanished after Adult Force acquired them?
I reached out to Andrew at Adult Force and he told me the following:
So I finally did get an answer back on this. Since it was CCbill that originally had the accounts there is nothing we can really do in our power to regain those rebills. Once they swapped over, all the rebills stopped occurring for whatever reason. You can try contacting them to see if they can do anything but were kind of powerless for this since we aren’t CCbill. I wish I had a better answer for you, but this is what I was told.
I then followed up by asking if when they acquired the Bigstr properties they did so without the active member base and he responded as follows:
when we acquired Bigstr we ended up dropping CCbill as a processor which is why we don’t have their rebills anymore
I hope that clears things up a bit. I also apologize for this as I can understand your frustration. I hope you know that this is NOT a regular occurrence with us and is a one-off situation that I also have never seen before. The only thing we can do really is move forward, and make sure we are doing everything on our end to make you the most money possible to help make up for lost ground.
I then asked What did Adult Force do with the active member base that Bigstr had when they dropped CCBill as a processor?
Hey im just assuming we lost those accounts. Most people likely just resigned up online or through another processor. At the end of the day im sure a good portion of those clients came back, but we definitely lost a chunk of clients as well. We aren’t given a ton of information on these specific business procedures which is why it took me so long to get an answer for you. I hope that answers all your questions but if you have any more please feel free to ask, im here for you.
Is it just me or does this smell like BS to anyone else? I HIGHLY doubt Adult Force purchased Bigstr and just walked away from the old active member base when they dropped CCBill. I HAD a pretty decent monthly rebill base with Bigstr and I’m just one affiliate. I can only image what the actual size of the overall member base was.
