I was taking a walk down memory lane this evening and both Adult Check and UGAS domains aren’t resolving, they’re not even forwarding. Anyone know what happened to them?
Re: Anyone Know What Happened to Adult Check & UGAS?
Didn’t know they stopped resolving, but I think they both went the way of the dinosaur years ago. Last I heard AdultCheck was pushing some VOD type platform called “Dooza.com” but that seems to be gone as well now (that was at least 5 years ago).
UGAS I don’t know about. I just checked and it looks like ManCheck.com may be the only left. Wonder if they still make any money?

Good old days…
Re: Anyone Know What Happened to Adult Check & UGAS?
Wow, my first site was a UGAS site…all the way back in ancient history i.e. …2005?! It really doesn’t seem like there’s been enough actual years to do all the insane shit I’ve done since then.
Re: Anyone Know What Happened to Adult Check & UGAS?
we had an adultcheck site in maybe 1998. ah, those were the days…
Re: Anyone Know What Happened to Adult Check & UGAS?
1998 to 2004 was very good days, after this every year was down and down until disappear.
I bought 3 apartments in Barcelona with the adultcheck incomes

I got in in 2004, I think I was able to buy three cups of coffee and a bagel with extra cream cheese with my UGAS check.
Re: Anyone Know What Happened to Adult Check & UGAS?
In 2002 and 2003 I could spend a couple hours per week making AdultCheck sites while working for them Part Time as a Product Manager, and it was more than enough to live quite comfortably in Thailand. The rest of the time was spent traveling, having fun and playing video games.
When that bubble exploded and AC made some very bad decisions that destroyed the company, it took me about 3 years and nonstop 50 - 60 hour work weeks to start my own business and get myself back to making the same amount. Fortunately I was in Thailand where the cost of living was low enough that I could survive on $500 per month when I was getting started.
