Looks like WebAir is getting tired of not being paid, and has started blocking altagay and altagaylinks dot com.
The email will prolly bounce, and I don’t have Bruno’s ICQ address laying around anywhere.
Many here have mentioned that it’s a shame - AGL at one time had a very, very “pleasurable” Alexa ranking.
AltaGayLinks was down for several months, and then came back in October, but has gone down again - this time with the dreaded “no fancy index” so it doesn’t even show a 404 or a host “pay the bill” message. But the host is still WebAir.
Hope Bruno’s alright, and if he is, hopes someone goes and kicks his ass for letting AGL decay like it has.
Note to whomever does that - hit him an extra lick and tell him to update GayPornTraffic as well, another directory he’s letting slide into oblivion.
First day of 2010, I’m going to cut several thousand recip links to AGL and GayPornTraffic if this boy don’t get his feces collated…

Well, if there was any doubt before about Alta Gay Links, there sure isn’t now. The domain has been picked up by one of those holding companies that throws up a page with “related” keyword links. So AGL is definitely dead.

Does it happen right after the domain isn’t renewed anymore or after 40 days from the expiring date? I don’t remember.

Ahh, so that must just be a fail over page that the host uses for delinquent accounts. Crazy situation, but at least he wasn’t nutty enough to actually let the domain go.
There must be more to the story… he’s been around forever and always seemed to be on the ball.
