About GlobalMalePass

I had this rather interesting comment from a member about GlobalMalePass:

GMP is very underhanded. I purchased a lifetime pass a year 1/2 ago and now it seems they consider 1 1/2 years a lifetime. I have expired and after eamils to customer support no one responds. Also most of their sites recently became GMP Signiture sites which requires a different level of access (MORE MONEY). They are just crooks. I would give them less than a one rating if i could.

If thats true, thats a total rip off. Is it true? Are they suddenly upgrading all sites and now existing members have to signup again even if they paid for a longer term membership? If thats true I might consider to stop listing GMP sites.

Re: About GlobalMalePass

I got an e-mail a while back that they were trying to get as many webmasters as possible to migrate sites to the Signature brand. And it seemed like they were even loosening their Signature rules to accept more sites.

Re: About GlobalMalePass

hmm… all these emails from gmp seem to pass me by.

this phrase on the gmpsignature site leapt out at me:

“Just like GlobalMaleSignature’s predescessor GlobalMalePass”

i think GMP needs to use a spell checker on their content: i think they mean: predecessor

Re: About GlobalMalePass

I can confirm all of the above and more but will not make judgement or comment just yet, until they have answered a few of our questions in reply.
Hopefully they will reply this year…

Don’t hold your breath.

Re: About GlobalMalePass

in looking at gm signature program it appears to match UGAS’ platinum set up but rather than attempting to upsell to UGAS platinum as UGAS does… GMP seems to have gone the completely different route and has set new front end AVS(the back end still hooks up the predecessor program

all very odd.

This is 100% indeed correct.
I note Car is back at Mancheck too - did you know Michael ?
Lots of changes going on in the world !

Re: About GlobalMalePass

Car is awesome. There are lots of changes going on.

Re: About GlobalMalePass

Yes, I did know that Car was back at MANcheck. And I have a feeling we’re going to see a resurgence of MANcheck. This will definitely be the place to watch.

Re: About GlobalMalePass

Yup, heard the same, fingers crossed !

Re: About GlobalMalePass

Sorry for my ignorance, but who is Car and why she/he is good news for Mancheck?

Re: About GlobalMalePass

NEVER JOIN THIS SITE OR PARTNER SITE GLOBAL MALE SIGNATURE!!

I Joined GlobalMaleSignature and you donot have an option NOT to join the free 7 Day trial site Gayplayce therefore if you donot cancel the trial in & days you are billed at £35 a month, I sent 8 E-mails to globalmalepass- No response, 6 E-mails to Gayplayce - No response, had to dial the overseas phone number to Cyprus- No reply, Instead I had to face the emmbarasment of going into my bank and giving them the details to stop them from taking money from my account.
Even Worse the site is S**T and nearly half of the links DONT WORK!!!

Re: About GlobalMalePass

I am lon gtime webmaster of GMP. THe last yewar things are going down like hell. Signature is NOT 300 pics min imum etc. No 50 will do too. I found out that another webmaster was having signature sites with such amounts. They said yeah he is a good webmaster we allowed it. Each recurring customers should bring 20 usd per month. Great. No! Of every 10 listed “active members” as they call them you may receive no more than 2-3 that actually do pay the 20 usd. Asked about that they reply that credit card payments did not go through. Well that happens than in more than 60% of the cases. Sales they pay out 100%. Great! No! They reduced the prices to levels not worth working for. Easy, its our money that first payment, not theirs!

Questions are not answered or very vaguely. We get back to you is very popular. After 6 months still not, despite several reminders. Once they offered great webmasters service now they have become very bad and very unpleasant to work with! Their site lists are dominated by a few webmasters that can do as it seems anything they like. Their sites often do not match the requirements at all. For those few no problem.

I know at least of two other webmasters with identical problems with them soince they introduced that wretched signature thingy.

I have numerous sites there but very little revenues. The sponsor banners pay better than they do! I wonder what would be best. Quit them and go where? To ManCheck or UGAS? or just find a real job

Re: About GlobalMalePass

in the past globalmalepass pay the 100%, for 1 year 19.95.
I see that time ago down the price to 4.95 and not inform to the webmasters, what profit have now a GMP webmaster?

they try to get sales with a low price 4.95, and then they keep 100% the recurring 39.95

Are GMP and MANcheck the same company?

Re: About GlobalMalePass

I’m a long-time Mancheck webmaster. If you need help moving over to Mancheck, I’m happy to help. I also personally know, and I have worked with, the person who administers the Mancheck site and approves webmaster sites.

I tried GMP and like you was frustrated with the change in pricing to $4.95. I flipped all of my sites to Mancheck and I am making money.

Mancheck recently changed their pricing structure, but I think it favours webmasters better. Instead of selling one-year memberships for $19.95 and hoping you’ll get 30% rebills, Mancheck now offers monthly memberships. They have a recurring membership for $20, which means you make $10, and $10 on rebills. The beauty of this system is you don’t have to wait a whole year for a member to renew and potentially earn a commission.

They also have a non-recurring option at $30, which gets you $10.

And Mancheck does sell for me. If you’d like to try them out, I’d appreciate you using my referral link. In return, I’ll help you get set up, walk you through what you need to do, and introduce you to the people over there. PM me if you’re interested.

Re: About GlobalMalePass

Absolutely not … not even in the same country.

Re: About GlobalMalePass

not

Re: About GlobalMalePass

I get this weird feeling that GMP is slightly dishonest towards their customers as well as towards their webmasters. The misery started with the “grand” introduction of signature. From there things went down very fast. They suddenly were also not responsive anymore. When they reply it is vague and not to the point. To get a site listed they need a sample picture and a screen shot of the site. Some webmasters just don’t bother with a screen shot and supply them with just a picture. Why have rules when they are not the same for everyone? It feels bad. My income with GMP is less than 10% of what it used to be. Days go by with no financial action at all. “Active signature members” I may have but only a few - less than half - actually pay out every month. Questions about that are never answered properly. “We will look into this, we get back to you.” When after 6 months or a year or never?

Are there among you who can explain this or may be some that have still very good experiences with them? I’d like to know more before I decide to leave them. I must say I have already opened the exit door and am prepared to go!

Re: About GlobalMalePass

The owner (Alex - I think that’s his name) of GMP is very shady. There was a run-in here a couple years back with him. They screwed over our payments, sent a bounced hand-written check, it was a mess. Still to this day he fucked us out of a few hundred. They’ve done a little worse than that, but on personal levels.

We have worked with Mansites in the past and still have sites with Mansites several years later now. I give mansites 2 thumbs up. Very loyal, honest, really cool to work with
