It’s the day after Thanksgiving here in the US… Although it seems it starts earlier, and lasts longer, than that every year now. The idea is to offer tremendous discounts on select items that you can only purchase for a specified time/date… (like a 50 inch LED tv for $299 from 6-7 pm on Friday) … which drives people into the stores to try and grab a good deal and the stores hopefully end up “in the black” financially for the year.

U.S. Thanksgiving is always the last Thursday in November… so just remember the last Friday :smiley:

I avoid the stores on Black Friday, its like a mad house every year. However, if I catch some good sales online without having to rush crowds and I do my shopping around to know its a good deal I may not pass on it. Last year Amazon.com had some amazing sales, you just have to know what you are looking for :slight_smile:

We are already updating the sales for Black Friday on our sites, the $50 PPS starts at midnight tonight.
