what makes a successful tube site?

okay, i’ll bite. after reading some of lloyd’s comments, i got to wondering what makes a successful tube site? i think of them like tgps or mgps, which they are like, so i’m wondering if similar things work for tubes.

for example, does thumb selection and title of clip make a difference in traffic, sales or overall productivity? i would think so, and if that’s the case it would mean hand-made thumbs would probably be better than script generated thumbs. also bad titles or irrelevant titles could send the wrong people to the videos and the paysites.
