What happened in March? Traffic up, sales down

There’s a tool you can use called cb-stats. You upload it and it shows your biggest spenders. You can then email chaturbate and send them the id and they can check if they’ve signed up under a new account. If they have they return the users and any commission they’ve spent. A few guys on another forum have got back quite a lot

Just testing it now. Looks like I lost some big spenders in Jan and Feb (they accounted for a decent chunk of daily spend). I’ve contacted chaturbate, lets see what they say.

They take a while to respond but keep us posted on how it goes. I regularly ask them to return spends. As we both lost spenders at pretty much the same time I’m wondering if them guys are from the states that have been blocked and haven’t uploaded their IDs to access the site?

will do.

it’s not just chaturbate though, in general been a bit worse.

Where do you find this tool (cb-stats)?

Thanks,
Kevin.

Try here: https://cb-stats.com/

You need the URL from chaturbate affiliate are, easy to use. I did hesitate a bit though as you’re giving away your stats but I figured they can’t really get anything of importance out of it.

Awesome… Thanks and WOW. What a ton of information. Never knew this tool was available.

With that said what you are you doing with the information? I’m guessing you take the TOP spenders that are highlighted in RED and then ask Chaturbate if it’s possible those have been assigned to someone else’s account?

Thanks,
Kevin.

I did, took top spenders and contacted them. They just got back to me and said everything is fine… so that didn’t help or get me anywhere.

Well, that sucks…

I’m curious to see what happens when I inquire, especially since I’ve noticed a drop in sales too.

A while back, I asked them if they were filtering out stats that have passed age verification laws because I noticed a dip in sales last September, but they assured me they weren’t. Fortunately, sales returned to normal levels in October. However, since February, I’ve experienced a decline of about 25% with Chaturbate.

Kevin.

I’ve also experienced a similar drop since February. Very odd.

Too much of a coincident. Several affiliates who are probably small compared to some of the big straight ones experience the same thing around the same period. They have done something or something changed in relation to their site.

Sadly taking from the response I got, nothing will happen or be done about it.

Most of my users who disappeared were American. I wonder if they signed up again and got assigned to a new account. Very strange issue and I’ve had nothing but stable income from chaturbate for ten years. Shame

Well I heard back from Chaturbate today… I gave them a list of 24 big spenders and they did find one that was under another affiliates account and have reassigned them back to my account and credited my account $513… Not bad. I’m going to have to keep an eye on cb-stats every so often… Ended up being found money… Not enough to make up for the decline I’m seeing since February but every penny helps

Great they found that but that is concerning lol.

According to CB stats I have 30 percent less spenders than usual and still 9 days left

Will see at end of month whether I’m missing spenders or the current spenders are just not buying as much. Will be interesting

Agree!!

However, I have been using Chaturbate for 6 years. So in that perspective, I don’t think 1 big spender getting assigned to another affiliate is that bad. Mistakes happen and this big spender managed to slip through Chaturbate’s system. Bjorn had none… I’m just glad I got them back.

mrmagoo2022 thanks for the tip about cb-stats

Its the end of month now. I see using the tool that I have the same amount of spenders as other months. It seems they are spending less rather than users vanishing which is weird. Economy is picking up compared to last two years so no idea why people would tighten wallets now

Perhaps run up to summer months?

I don’t think the economy is picking up in real terms for people. Yes companies are doing better and inflation is getting better. But now is when people really are starting to feel the squeeze. Here in Spain food prices has gone up by 40% in 3 years, that’s a huge amount especially considering how much the average salary is here.

Money has probably run out for a lot of people and now there’s nothing left… people have no savings left, real pay has been cut due to the massive increase in inflation of the last few years. Everything is going up.

Increased year by year for USA average credit card debt. 10% average 2023 over 2022. UK increased by 8% average credit card debit 2023 over 2022, though their balance is about 2,000 British Pounds, where as the USA is $6500 now average credit card balance. So not only is disposable income down, people are having to use credit more than ever.

This is so interesting to see. So it does confirm or correlate to the decrease in porn sales and I assume many other businesses, specially anything that isn’t absolutely necessary.
