Anyone familiar with http://www.youporngay.com ?
They are trying to sell adverts through Etology and asked me to buy some spots. Never seen the site before myself. But wonder, majority of the videos they have look very long.

Re: tube site: youporngay.com
iâve heard of and seen traffic reports on youporn, guessing itâs their main site. I would think it depends on where they want to put the ad, the type of ad and cost per click. If i works in your budget on a cpc basis, i donât see why not.
Re: tube site: youporngay.com
I believe their model is to license DVD content from producers and make it available on their site.
When I last looked (week or two ago) most of the longer content they had was pretty crappy, and none of it was watermarked with anyone elseâs site, so from my brief glance, it looks like one of the few legitimate sites out there
Re: tube site: youporngay.com
Their domain registration is private, while their other sites on that server are registered in Macedonia and their DMCA notice address is in the Netherlands, while their Youporn trademark representative is located in London.
If you ever have a problem who would you contact; anonymous, Netherlands, London or Macedonia?
Over the last couple years these tube sites start out legit then, after they get our traffic, end up with stolen content and no way for content producers to get it down.
Other then the public information I was able to access, I have no idea who the youporngay people are.
Instead of posting on boards asking about a company, people can use these four simple steps to research a company theyâre considering doing business with in the future:
Do a whois search on the domain
[URL=âhttp://whois.domaintools.com/youporngay.comâ]
Do a Google search for the company name (in quotes), found on the DMCA page, whois, or 2257 page
just a few red flags:
Addresses listed in multiple countries for whois/DMCA/2257 page and/or Google search results
Private whois registration
Addresses in multiple countries listed on whois registration history
Negative results on Google search of the company name
Note: Thereâs been a recent influx of a minority of vocal âwebmastersâ who donât want their urls, registration information, or other public information posted, so be prepared for their bitching if you post any public information, on a public board
Re: tube site: youporngay.com
That is a good article about YouPorn. Yes, the owners of YouPorn are very mysterious.
Re: tube site: youporngay.com
OH WOW! youporngay is alreadt under 5k on alexa. YouPorn.com itself is like 50.
Re: tube site: youporngay.com
People can bitch all they want about not posting WHOIS info, but as far as Iâm concerned, WHOIS info is very easily available to anyone and is therefore fair game.
As I think weâve previously established as far as policy on this board, I do think that information collected from sources not readily available to the public (such as subscription-only reverse search or historical search services, data collection agents such as Choicepoint) are something that is appropriate to post here, nor would posting the real name of someone that doesnât normally post here using their real name, or posting info on non-porn businesses by someone who runs a small adult business.
The issue of privacy is a delicate one and itâs impossible to make simple black-and-white rules, but basic info such as whois or ownership info of an adult-related business, particularly one such as a tube site, seems very reasonable to me.
Re: tube site: youporngay.com
BTW, I also have to agree that when you have a company claiming domicile in several locations, private WHOIS, and other apparently evasive strategies, it raises a ton of red flags.
I hope that these people stay legit, but as Squirt points out, so many others have started legit and gone sour that I think the likelihood, particularly given the dodgy stuff about location, indicates itâs a future problem.
Re: tube site: youporngay.com
You Porn is using stolen stuff and so is their gay version, you can bet on that. You Porn is one of the biggest sites harming the mainstream porn biz out there and their gay site wonât be any better, for what reason would it?
So if you pay for traffic from them you would support them and Iâm sure thatâs not what you want!
Re: tube site: youporngay.com
So then that brings me to my real point.
What does that make the advertising company âEtologyâ, they want to flog adverts but then dont really care who their client is.
So to me, by knowing who they choose work with makes it clear to me that I wont be using Etology.
Re: tube site: youporngay.com
Well the clips did look suspicously long to me. I mean most of them are 5min+, thats pretty hefty for a tube site.

Re: tube site: youporngay.com
Is it possible that Etology just doesnât know much about youporngay? Youporn is #38 on Alexa. pretty popular site.

Re: tube site: youporngay.com
a rep from Etology is pushing the site heavily, Ive recieved emails from Etology on 3 of my sites / domains.
Iâve invited them to comment on it here, so they certainly aware now. Will see if they will comment or not.
Re: tube site: youporngay.com
had a reply from Etology:
Hi Bjorn,
Thank you for your reply and concern. We have a portfolio of clients that are adult sites. I believe some of the content is uploaded by unique users and content may or may not be questionable.
Typically, if a site has violated laws, action would be taken and there would be consequences. The legal aspects we leave to the webmasters. We simply manage their ad spaces and try to optimize for them. Essentially providing a marketplace where publishers and advertisers can connect and create a symbiotic relationship.
We understand your concerns. If thereâÂÂs an opportunity in the future, please donâÂÂt hesitate to contact us.
Thank You,
Its a interesting response from a larger company. I could apply the same to gaydemon and how i do business essentially saying its not my problem if a site is illegal.
Re: tube site: youporngay.com
Etology has business relationships with sites such as keezmovies, pornhub, youporn and others. I wouldnât do any business with those guys as they support illegal tubes and they do support brazzers, too! Enough reasons to boycott those bastards! They are seriously harming our biz with promoting on illegal sites and supporting content theft!
Re: tube site: youporngay.com
Itâs surprised me for years how sleazy some of these online ad agencies can be.
There was one that was selling a pay-per-lead thing for distance learning colleges and universities, and they had a couple of colleges in their pool that practically everyone in the field knew were fakes (operated out of one state while claiming to be in another, offering unaccredited degrees for little work, etc). This was brought to their attention numerous times, but they always claimed some variation on âOh, Iâm sure if there were something wrong with the program that someone would do something about it.â
Ditto fraudulent advertisements in places like USA Today. You still see ads for âMAKE THOUSANDS STUFFING ENVELOPESâ and similar scams. Itâs sad, but I think many if not most of these agencies simply donât give a shit.
Re: tube site: youporngay.com
On the other hand, Google ads appear on pirate sites all the time. I would even bet that Google ads appear on the home pages of fake long distant learning colleges. Itâs a tough call if that ad company should be responsible for copyright violations of a site. Where does the ad agency draw the line? Is an ad agency really in business to determine if a site is legit and all content is not in violation of a copyright or is it in business to sell ads?
Itâs a tough call. In many ways webmasters should decide for themselves if an outlet is appropriate for advertising on. Once an ad agency sets rules for where there ads appear, then they really have to enforce the rule across the board.
Re: tube site: youporngay.com
They have their main income from these huge illegal tube sites so I think they know about it
Re: tube site: youporngay.com
I believe google closes accounts that advertise on pirate sites or scam sites, you just need to alert them of it.
