Is charmants gone?

On Firefox, I don't get redirected, just get "problem loading page" message. Which means it could be gone, of course, though perhaps it's only some sort of issue with their server.

i'm getting redirected now, too. Yesterday I was just having Firefox tell me it was taking too long to load the page.

Well if it is gone, this is good news for the other sharing sites. But I did get quite a bit of traffic from Charmants, although it tending to have high bounce rates.

Question is: How long do we wait before pulling down our links.

I think the two sites are owned by two different people, however ACDG has helped to launch Charmants back in 2008.

That's too bad. But I never did understand how they earned money on Charmants and making up for the amount of time they must have put in. However it could be something else. I'm fairly sure the owners of acausedesgarcons.com were looking for a buyer of their site last year. Maybe Charmants decided to buy it and concentrate on that site instead - which is a great looking site and more opportunity for mainstream income.

That's strange...I'd imagine the money they made with ads was worth the little time they put to approve blog posts.

I think they sold off the domain. Such a shame. It had potential but i think lacked resources (moderators)

Someone wanted to buy Charmants.com? I would imagine they'd get more if they sold the site as is rather than just the domain.
