Dubious Blog Milestone

My blog is less than a year old, and it has already reached a dubious milestone. It is big enough to where bots are finding it and beginning to send me spam.

LOL, yeah those spammers find out real fast. One reason to disable public comments.

What other dubious milestones do I have to look forward to?

My blogs were getting "botted" within a few months of going up. The spammers must be getting lazy these days lol

Once you can deal with the spam it's all pretty positive in my experience with blogs. Keep building up that traffic, get some dedicated visitors (and they bring their friends over), they learn to trust what you offer and the sales should come in. This is from my perspective anyway.

I find comments can be good for some blogs and not so for others. I get some pretty cool comments on http://thebearranch.com so I keep it open. Some of my other blogs I'm about to disable comments on because I don't get much else other than spam. Thank you Askimet!
