Years ago Tri Tech (UGAS) launched Clear Card, paysite CC processor. I believe w/ the Visa regs that the whole thing pretty much died. Now I got an email from UGAS saying that Clear Card is now processing for paysites. Is this something new?

Yeah, I got the same email. I don't think they ever stopped processing but they didn't accept new accounts for some reason.

I used to use Clearcard actually. They were pretty good to me. I didnt realise they had stopped taking paysites either.

I used clearcard up until recently as our 2nd/3rd biller in our cascade - I dropped them due to several VERY important issues (including serious security issues). I have asked time and again that these issues be corrected, I even had an email conversation with Gary Dginger, who took over operations in Nov/07. He was so keen to help that he lowered my processing rate to an extremely low figure. I would have loved to use these guys as my primary, but these issues still remain to date.
Until these issues get solved, stay away from ClearCard!!!!!!!

There used to be one guy (Cameron) who was a little star. He is the only reason I said they were good to me.
