anyone got any SEO tips for getting good Bing results? I suspect their usage is growing every day given that its the default for ie8, which was pushed out to all windows users via the ms updates. I have had no luck getting good results with them so far, does anyone have tips they want to share?

From what I've heard they are not gaining at all, the other way around. Their results are so bad that people give up.

Otherwise no, never heard of any tips for SEO with Bing or Live (same as live anyway)

But you might be able to find something here:

Checking out my blog stats in Google Analytics, Bing is way far behind. I have no clue how to get better listings there. I use the XML Sitemap Generator Plugin for Wordpress (http://www.arnebrachhold.de/redir/sitemap-home/) and it has an option for informing Bing, Yahoo, and Ask - as well as Google of course - about post updates. There is a Bing Webmaster Tools link in my control panel and here's the url - http://www.arnebrachhold.de/redir/sitemap-lwt/ - It says registration isn't required and I haven't checked it out yet as the Plugin tells me it informs Bing no matter what.

MaxPower - It looks as though Yahoo requires a key to be notified of sitemap updates etc. Here's the url to get one - http://www.arnebrachhold.de/redir/sitemap-ykr/ Just sign in with your Yahoo account - you will need one - and it will take you to the form to fill out.

I don't know if this will help you folks. This is blog based but I do notice that since I've been using this Plugin my traffic has increased about 15%. Organic has risen to almost 60%. So it's working.
