Okay, we all know how webmaster's love their stats. It seems to be the common thread between all aspects of our world, from designers to code geeks to publishers to photographers.

So if you use a Wordpress Blog, what is your favorite WP Plug In for Stats, and why?

Links to the plug in would be nice. :D

I've been using WP-ShortStat which I've found to be a very useful plugin, the stats are presented in an easy to understand layout, and its been especially instructive about what keywords visitors to my blog were searching for.

However I have problems with it since upgrading to 2.5 so I'd like to maybe try another stat plugin.

Funny isn't it? I mean here this upgrade was in the works for about six months, and the plug in geeks seemed to have ignored the important stuff, like stat programs, but they sure rushed to get the other stuff updated. Hopefully there will be some updates/upgrades for them soon... I am still waiting as well, for slimstats and slimstats-ex.

Live is awesome!! You can watch your visitors come and go in real time even.

I heard there were problems with it running in 2.5 so for that blog I'm still at 2.3.1. Works great!

Thanks for the links, I was wondering about the plugins and 2.5.I updated one of my blogs and still getting use to it.I do have to say that I miss the older way of importing links from other blogs.That sounds cool though about getting to see your vistors in real time. ;)

You can check this Wordpress 2.5 Plug In List (http://codex.wordpress.org/Plugins/Plugin_Compatibility/2.5#A_-_D) for compatible one's or one's that have been updated to work with WP 2.5

They do seem to be updating it, unlike the 2.3 one they had. :cool:
