My sites have been severely damaged... hope this is nothing final yet...

I've lost at least 60 pages for all the keywords that I was in top 5 two days ago. It sucks. Pretty much sucks.

Overall I've not lost anything, it actually looks like I've gained.

BUT I think ive lost some words and gained on others. I have also noticed that Google has cut down on how many pages they index for each site by quite large amounts. It doesnt seem to affect traffic though.

The largest change has been on gaypornengine.com (http://www.gaypornengine.com), its more than doubled over night. Massive gain.

I doubt it will last though.

We have lost almost ALL google traffic over night. One of my blogs gained about 300%, most other types of sites lost up to 95%. :(

This is the worst google update I have ever seen and it seems that google kicked almost all of our one-page sites and only kept deeper sites such as tubes, blogs and directories. I don't have any #1 spot in the SERP's anymore for most of my sites and most totally disappeared.

There's a thread on another board where most webmasters see the same thing as I do, most of them own one-page sites, too.

This really sucks :(

I haven't noticed too much change.

We're still the #1 result for "amateur bareback" and the first pay site listed tor "bareback". Whew

Add the word porn to the end of search terms you used to come up under and you might see something familiar.

Everything is nice and steady for me on rawtop.com (see below). I do see a dip in some of my smaller blogs, but curiously the hosted sponsor blogs I work on are seeing an upswing.

Based on that I'd say the change was in valuing potentially spammy links. The hosted blogs that are getting more traffic have a lot of low-quality links coming into them from automated affiliate blogs. The blogs that lost Google traffic have only a few high quality links coming in. That's a disturbing thing to notice since it means the change might be Google valuing link quantity over link quality - which would be an advantage for spammers.

BTW, a SERP is a Search Engine Result Page. You can get hit by changes to SERPs, but not by the SERPs themselves. Either way, Google does everflux so changes are constant and small. It's curious to hear that a small change had such a big impact on some sites.

Does anybody here have one-page TGP's or similar sites and can comment if he sees a similar result as I do? It really seems that only sites with low depth are affected negatively. Or maybe it's a Smart Thumbs issue as some don't see such huge declines with other scripts...

I see a traffic drop of about 15k during the last 24 hours :(

This update has been both good and bad for me it would seem so far. Some of my blogs have skyrocketed in hits, and yet others have taken a slight dip. One thing I have noticed is certain directories send less traffic to my Free Sites, while the ones who didn't use to send a lot of traffic now are. Interesting indeed.

I found an intriguing read on the update here - http://www.webpronews.com/topnews/2009/03/24/new-google-serp-features

Perhaps we just have to take a different approach when dealing with Google when it comes to Adult sites. I don't know. For those who are suffering dramatically, very sorry to hear that. Sincerely.

I did a check with the TGPs I have Google Analytics running on.

TGP #1 (Single-page): down 29% in the last 24 hrs
TGP #2 (Single-page): no change
TGP #3 (Multi-page): down 22%
TGP #4 (Multi-page): down 13%

I dont use Smart Thumbs, only TGPX on all my sites.

There is not much difference between TGP 1 and 2, both of these are crappy 1 page designs.
TGP 4 is deeper than TGP 3, in addition to the niche pages, it has many archive pages. But I'm not sure if depth is necessarily the reason for the greater decline.

Maybe this is all just a temporary thing and the Google traffic will return in a couple of days?

That would be so cool :) Otherwise this update kicks me back a whole year...

Thats interesting. It could be close to the truth. It would explain some of the things I'm seeing. But it does seem like a very "basic" way to evaluate sites for being Google.

From what I can hear and noticed on Gaypornengine.com and Gaydemon this is the biggest overnight changes I've ever seen.

I'm sure we will see a lot of flux in the next few days - up and down - while its being pushed to all data centers (if thats how they still do it?). Then again since its such massive changes to some sites, maybe they no longer do a few data centers at time?
