How do you find expired domains in directnic? I know enom has club drob. Godaddy I can't stand the torture of being in that admin for more than 1 min.

I love godaddy. In my admin, as soon as I log in there is a little table of to the right that tells me something like "you have 100 domains about to expire". I click a link and it shows me all domains that are expiring in the next 2-3 months.

thanks. it appears that these domains are more expired than that, and that godaddy has a shorter grace period than directnic...

You mean domains that you owned and then expired. The standard (and I believe what ICANN dictates) is 40 days. After that the registrar can charge a hefty fee (usually $100). 35 days later the domain is gone.

it has been less than a month since the domains expired and godaddy says that in order to register them we must pay what they say is the icann required $80 per domain to re-register them since we passed the godaddy grace period.

One reason never to use godaddy. However the $80 is cheaper than most. They shorten the grace period, but reduce the additional fees. ugh!
At least with GoDaddy you can have them on auto renew. Never could find that in DN.
All my domains are being transfered to enom. Every month I pick the domains that expire for the month and start the transfers.
