I use Firefox for most everything, there are actually a few sites that I have to use IE for like doing my accounting in Quickbooks.
I do check my sites and promo materials in IE to make sure they work and look OK for the people using it but I find Firefox with the addons to be the best for what I do most.
I switched from IE to Firefox in late 2004 and never looked back.
However FF bacame overbloated since its 3rd version, so I switched to the K-Meleon browser (which has the same engine as FF but a much less bloated user interface), and I love it.

I've always used IE, but got 4 or 5 browsers installed so I can check my designs in all of the major ones. Never liked Firefox, it interprets and makes some CSS designs look bad.
I use IE the most and absolutely for my online banking stuff as FF doesn't always load pages right.
I use FF to check everything on my site and have some cool add ons that Luke previously suggested that I use to check for back links, no follows, etc.
The new IE8 makes most of the sites I visit look "off" for some reason. I may be switching to FF for primary use if I can't figure out what the issue is soon.
Mostly Chrome here. Before Chrome came along, I primarily used Firefox but that thing eats up RAM way to fast. I found myself having to constantly restart FF to release the memory.
I use FF, and check with IE, too. For some reason, lately FF shuts down a lot and takes a while to load pages, while everything else works fine on my computer. Anyone noticing this, too?

I hate IE but I still use it. IE locks-up on me at least twice a day. I have tried Foxfire and it seems more stable then IE but there are just too many other things I don't like about it.

i'm surprised so many are using ie. ie has long been a less secure browser - one that lets more spyware into your computer. microsoft doesn't seem to fix discovered exploits as fast as mozilla does, either.

Interesting to hear the issues above. On 1 comp, I get IE occasional locking/crashes, and my main pc, the reverse, FF gives me troubles. Odd. I usually keep them both open for quick testing.

I like & use firefox but I am also getting tired of the minor issues all throughout it (esp memory issues, man it sucks up a lot of memory). I also use ie to work on my sites, and Ben uses safari. That way we cover off 99% of the surfer market.
I think its very important to use the browsers that your surfers use, particularly when it comes to surfing and checking your own sites.

that's my reason, too.

I use two - both firefux and safari - different purposes but firefux is often screwy and safari has its own issues - ie is low on my totem pole but useful to see how the pc world looks at us
so ms "b" you need a poll with "preferred" and "second" or back-up browser - I checked safari
