Some WP 2.5 Answers

There really are a lot of changes in 2.5 and this is a great FAQ's put together that might help on some questions.

I have upgraded two blogs, but have to say, I really am impressed with the changes this time around. 2.3 left me feeling, eh so what, but days after the 2.5 upgrade I am still feeling thrilled... Maybe it's a blond thing, but I do like the changes, so far. :cool:

Naked Hosting just upgraded to WP 2.5 and I must say, being so used to former versions, 2.5 is quite a bit different. In fact, is it me or does it seem a bit heavy browser wise? My blogs that are still at 2.3.3 load much faster. I must say too that I'm not crazy about the flash powered upload option. I'm having problems with it at my end for some reason. One of the techs at Naked Hosting tried in my Control Panel and had no problems so I guess it's something with me. Hmmm.....anyone else have these same problems with the new image upload feature in 2.5?

But still yeah.....thanks for the link man. It'll come in handy. I'll eventually get used to this I guess. I have no choice I suppose lol

Yeah it is a bit of a shock, but I find the image upload feature in 2.5 much better than earlier versions. I enjoy the easier access to the media library, and to add a title, with caption, that helps out a lot, plus the preview of the image.

Course you could use an image plugin like the NextGen gallery one. Works quite well.
