Galleries, contents, paysite? Who sells?

That's one of my old-never-answered question. Most of all because I think that a question like that has not answer at all. Who pushes user to buy an account?

My thought about it:

Contents: they do the "selection" between interested users and not interested users. Think about a TGP/MGP I, as user, usually click on thumbs with contents that i like.

Galleries (design): they're responsible of CTR. With CTR I mean the number of visits / hits to paysite.

Paysite (tour): it's the responsible of final sale. If well done it can keep the attention of the users and drive them to join page.

What's your opinion?

I would say they are all important. Content is the most important as without content the surfer wants, they wont click through and they wont like the tour (which presumably uses the content). Content is king but the other factors all play a part imo.
