That site is a real pain!! I tested the premium area using my CC for a "free signup". When I clicked on a "play button" for a video (with no other info about upgrading, paysite area or something) I'm redirected to a site which says "Membership successfully upgraded". That wasn't my intention!!
No cancel membership links on the site, no contact form under "support", no cancel link or info in the registration mail. The billing support site didn't work for minutes, always server errors!
Finally I could enter my email adress and info and now it says
Transaction History
Type Date Amount
Joined 2009-05-16 0.00
Upgraded 2009-05-16 49.97
They charge me 49.97$ for a "free membership" ripoff, great!! I'm going to chargeback of course!
How do you guys get away with such a ripoff site? Don't all those "free members" chargeback and doesn't anybody forward this to a lawyer? I think the site belongs to someone from this board or is a sponsor's site, isn't it?
Congratulations to one more scam site that makes surfers no longer join paysites! Damn I'm really upset!! :grrr:
Lol and I can't even cancel without selecting from a dropdown menue where I can choose from "satisfied, income issues, did not read terms and conditions.." Yeah guys, please tell me I'm a dumbass while canceling..

And this is the link in the payment confirmation email, very gay their content, lol Please press enter and see for yourself. Nice gay paysite I joined there for a cheap 50$

I hate to state the obvious, but doesn't the name Skeezy just scream rip off; as you've shown us, their tactics are pretty sleazy. It's kind of funny that they're being so blatant about it.
Michael
For years I would not join a paysite unless they had a phone number to call for support. I would actually call and talk to a real person to be sure about everything before entering my information. All of this was of course because I too had been ripped off by these types of practices 1 too many times.
Now that CCBill and Verotel are so common I usually just look at the processor and scour every page for pre checked boxes to uncheck before clicking submit.
Best of luck getting your money back.

Best of luck getting your money back.
That's not the problem, a chargeback in done in 2 minutes but it's a hassle and I hate that these guys fuck over hundreds of surfers PER DAY who will maybe never join a paysite again! That site has at least 100k uniques per day, maybe a lot more.

I'm glad you feel the way you do about what's happened.
I think it's important that we have these open discussions about things we feel are wrong in the industry.
The person behind Skeezy.com is Tim Bartley.
His company is:
Whale Traffic LLC
1306 Schloemer Dr.
West Bend, Wisconsin 53095
United States
In doing my research I came across a couple phone numbers and called both. One was a number he wasn't at, but belonged to him, the other was his business number that he answered when I called.
He seems like a real nice guy and verified all the information. I also told him I was verifying the number before posting it online in regards to almost $50 in charges for a site that was supposed to be free. He said "ok"
I can't remember if we're allowed to post phone numbers, or all sites listed on a server, so PM me and I'll give you the numbers and a full list of other sites he owns, if you want them.
Most of the sites on one of his servers are Gay "free" sites. His other server has a number of different types of sites including a tube called lovethecock.com a couple of sites with the name Playboy in the domain, promoting Playboy of course.
He has a traffic site called GayTrafficWorld.com , a work at home site called trafficwealth.com and site called GayPornHackers.com .. where he convinces surfers wanting to steal porn that the only sites you can get free porn from are free sites where you have to enter your CC number and the card is not charged. ( I like the premise ) He gives a list of his sites for them to get free porn :D
From the bit of searching I did I found about 90 sites he has.
Hope this helps http://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t104/bmdj/SmileY/sm_peace.gif

This site has the most ridiculous terms of service I've ever seen.
Among other things, he lists all of the trademarks (5 bucks says they aren't registered) for all of his associated sites, which unwittingly serves as a "don't patronize" list (since it's right in the guy's TOS, I think it's fair game to post) :
members.absolutelymale.com™, members.adultdreams.com™, members.allasiangirls.com™, members.asianpleasures.com™, members.bigtitpornvids.com™, members.bigtitsexflix.com™, members.blackcockwhitesnatch.com™, members.chicksloveanal.com™, members.chicksloveblackmeat.com™, members.classicmature.com™, members.deepasssex.com™, members.desktopvixens.com™, members.ebonyfantasy.com™, members.ebonyporno.com™, members.fetishhotel.com™, members.gaydvdshack.com™, members.gaymovieaction.com™, members.hotasiancherry.com™, members.houseofteens.com™, members.iwantnetporn.com™, members.karasxxx.com™, members.lesbiansexflix.com™, members.lesbianpink.com™, members.majormelons.com™, members.malesonline.com™, members.mixedflavor.com™, members.mykinkywife.com™, members.nastyblacksex.com™, members.nastybloys.com™, members.obeymeslave.com™, members.porndvdshack.com™, members.sexmovievault.com™, members.shelikesgirls.com™, members.smutvideos.com™, members.teensexmovies.com™, members.teensteam.com™, members.totallyteens.com™, members.tranniesonline.com™, members.trannyslovesex.com™, members.twinksexflix.com™, members.wildcams4u.com™, members.willingwives.com™, members.xratedhardcoreporn.com™, members.xxxtrannysdvds.com™, members.xxxblackmen4u.com™, members.xxxporntheater.com™, members.xxxvideos4u.com™
He also says in the terms of service, that he can sell your email to anyone for any purpose, and that if you ask to be removed, he'll remove you from his list but makes no commitment whatsoever that he won't keep selling it to others.
He goes even further and tries to say that by signing up, you're exempting yourself from any do-not-contact registry and won't take any actions against him if he continues to spam you after you've notified him you're on a do-not-spam list. (This must be a proactive thing, since I know of no do-not-spam lists like the US do-not-call list)
He also says that there might be trojans and viruses and he isn't responsible, that you should take your own responsibility.
He even includes the special language required by California law in order to contractually permit waiver of unknown claims.
Real nice. Probably the sleaziest thing I've seen yet.

Interesting... the tubemembers.com server, the sites whos TOS you are quoting, hosts 265 domains, all of those in your list are on that server. All of those sites are now anonymously registered, but in the past were registered to a company in the Netherlands:
Offendale Comm. Ltd., BV
Strawinskylaan 1431
Amsterdam, Netherlands 1077 XX
NLMaybe his sites are affiliate feeder sites to that network or maybe he bought the network of sites at some point? Or perhaps he just copied their TOS?

Yeah, I think that's right. I believe all of the sites in Chip's list are MaxCash sites, so it looks to me like Skeezy is using his sites as a sort of front end to upsell the MaxCash member areas.

Maxcash were outed on another forum recently for having white text on white background pre-checked X-sales boxes...

Wow, that's a shame!
I know they had some trouble back in the day with the FTC related to email, but I've always thought of them as a stand up, if somewhat dated, program. I remember when GaryAlan (GWW Lee's partner) was their gay affiliate rep. That must have been early in the decade, 2000/2001 perhaps... ancient history in Internet years. :)
Who knows... the same people may not even own / run it anymore.

Does anyone believe for one second that one of their affiliates made $43k one week ... and the next top dude made $41k, then $35k? It would mean that that single affiliate, if they keep those numbers steady, earns $1 million to $2 million a year promoting that program alone.
I am almost 100% sure its boldfaced lies -- just like they lie about "free." It's not 1998.
What I am looking at (affiliate program for that site):

I was going to comment that being exposed on the boards should be incentive enough to not be shady.
Then I realized that site will probably still be around in a year and that guy will probably still be living in that house in three years.

I don't think that all their business relationships really know about their shady methods inside the "premium area". If they would still work with Skeezy allthough they knew about it I think it wouldn't make them any better than those skeezy scammers.
I don't think that you have to use illegal methods, scam and fuck over your surfers to be successful in this biz! I'm sorry for you if you think it's the only way today. Sure it makes it much easier to make quick bank but in the long run it will really hurt our biz!
