I see some blogs that show basically all the images from a porn shoot in one post. I was wondering if anyone else thinks this is too much. I just wonder if it is a very good strategy to give away so much for free? I can't see why a visitor would want to click for more if they have already seen so much of the shoot. Maybe i'm missing something in this strategy. When I blog I tend to leave some of the most explicit pictures out of a post so it gives visitors something more to want.

I came to the same conclusion and stopped giving it all away. Now I pick three or four photos, turn them into a collage in PhotoScape and blog it.

I even tried something just to see if it would work. I did an entry of pure text with no photos -- setup a special campaign link in the sponsors NATS -- and low and behold it converted.

i've got several friends who make more sales with 8 or 12 pics than with 3 or 4.

I did a test post with just text talking about the latest update on a paysite.

It has resulted in two sales so far. I know this because I setup a special campaign in NATS to track it.

Perhaps I should just start a text only blog?

Text only blog would be very interesting. But I don't think it would work in terms of sales. I think you will need at least some images or videos.

When I check out and list sites on my Bestmaleblogs.com I do notice some general things:

1. Surfers tend to vote down any blogs that has too much or only text (like personal sites with just lots of general text)

2. Surfers love blogs that have single picture posts from a lot of different sources. Male models, underwear models, pornstars etc. Variety seems to be the key.

3. More pictures or full galleries does NOT mean its more popular.

4. Surfers hate automated sponsor blogs and are pretty good at spotting them.
