Hi Guys,

I need some help if possible please.

I'm trying to export a video captured using iMovie so that I can write it onto a DVD to send to a client but each time we try the quality diminishes.

The video was shot in 16:9 HD NTSC.

There are lots of export settings on iMovie but I'm not sure which to select. Can anyone please tell me which I should choose or help me on ICQ?

Thank you

Two questions....what DVD authoring tool are you using? Have tried to export as full quality? I don't know which version of iMovie you are using so I can't tell you exactly where to find it.

if all you want to do is put the project on a disc then...

simply select "file" - "burn project to disc"

that will take a large file of any size and reduce it to fit on a dvd

and if you want to author then, choose "file" and then "export" and select the iDVD icon and then "share" - and then "render and proceed" - iDVD will launch and you can create your project and master the project from there - iDVD allows you to create a very sophisticated project with many chapters and a finished look - a bit tricky to navigate but the "help" feature walks you through the process step by step and... there are plenty of free tutorials on line at http://www.apple.com/ilife/resources/
