I know this thread has probably been started at some time or another, but I'll ask again. LOL.
What is the maximum size an original image should be? You don't want it too small because there has to be decent clarity. Yet you don't want to put up something that's 500kb, otherwise folks with slower connections or who might not want to wait for it to load up won't stick around.
Thanks:)

i've seen a few link lists with rules giving a max of either 150k or 200k. i try and keep mine around 60k to 80k - after all, you can usually get a pretty good looking image at 80k at 600x800.

Thanks Basschick. Right now my pics are still at their full sizes and I'm rendering them down accordingly. The images here - http://www.hotmaturestuds.com/galleries.html - are at 800pxx1239px - ish. Is 600x800 or so recommended for better viewing? I think so.
Just a note: I haven't submitted this site yet, so some of the images are still pretty huge. Still editing them.
Thanks for your great input!

I rendered all the large pics down to between 65kb and 80kb. Photoshop sure is amazing! He He.
Thanks for the tips!

Thanks GSM. Be good for folks to see this thread for info on image sizes in Free Sites.
My bounce rate is quite good keeping them at this size. Comparing it to some of my other Free Sites that is anyway. Sometimes we forget that some people don't have as fast of internet connections as we have here in North America and we certainly must keep them in mind.
Peace out...
