After consuming quite a lot of ressources (workload wise) we finally finished our directory My Gay LinX (http://mygaylinx.com/) :happy:

We bought an aged domain for it (registered in 2001) which is listed in the yahoo directory, has more than 100 sites already indexed by google and which will receive 150k uniques from external sources within the next 30 days plus is being fed from our own network and some friends.

I would be very happy to see some of you guys submitting their free sites, blogs, tgp's, tubes, avs sites, paysites and directories to it and you can be sure to get some nice traffic within the next days!
Feel free to submit up to 10 sites per day.
We're also working on good trades and link exchanges to improve traffic (if you wanna trade traffic or wanna do a linkexchange please send me a pm).

I'm also looking forward to hear some feedback and suggestions!

Hmm that's why I added the info below: "Must contain between 140 (about 2.5 rows) and 236 characters (4 rows)"
I think two short sentences of text should be possible as a description for a site. Shorter descriptions don't lok that nice and surfers should know what they're gonna see. Furthermore I prefer to have some fresh text every day for SEO reasons. I hope that's ok for you submitters.

Yes you can create a webmaster account. Just go to the Submit Page (http://mygaylinx.com/submit.php) and press "login". There you can click on "create one". Direct Link (http://mygaylinx.com/account.php?r=register)

I submitted to a directory once under just "hardcore" because they didn't have a classics category. My problem is that I wouldn't say our site is all muscle, or all fetish, etc etc. Any suggestions for me?

That's a toplist which pulls thumbs from the site it trades with (here 100gaygalleries.com). On that site I use an "auto crropping and auto casting", so thumbs are cropped automatically and then surfers "rate" them by just clicking the rotating thumbs from a gallery. E.g. a gallery has 15 auto cropped thumbs and they click thumb # 5 most, then this thumb is the final one and goes into rotation. I didn't crop out your face manually and I can drop that thumb or change it if you like :) I hope you forgive me!

oh that's fine - I'm just kidding with ya (kinda sorta!) - I understand and as a matter of fact, I checked the gallery and the problem is on OUR end - someone here cut off my head! but at least they left my dick in tact - the pic on the left is the one your using and the pic on the right shows my fabulous face... Hey! Well.. wouldn't that just be awesome for me then! lol I'd certainly get good placement, wouldn't I? :)

Probably hardcore would work.. like I mentioned, on other sites sometimes the only category that it really fits is hardcore.. since we have a little bit of leather, cops..etc. It's not genre specific except for being retro/classic.

Actually, I think that a Vintage/Classics section would probably do well on the site. A lot of the big studios have films that they would classify as vintage or classics and they'd probably love to have that category.

Doesn't cost you anything, you should give it a try.
Hell, Falcon and Colt are both good studios with great classics.

When I was at Maleflixxx we did a promo for "The Other Side of Aspen" which was an old Falcon flick with mustaches and everything and the surfers went ape-shit over it.
