Does anyone know of a proper gay Underwear Niche site?
The only one's I've found so far are:
http://www.speedopics.com/ (mostly old and low quality content)
http://www.men-in-spandex.com/ (mostly old and low quality content)
http://www.trypantyhose.com (not exactly what i need though..)
http://www.underweardudes.com (old fashion tour and not really a good niche match or content)
http://www.boyzinbriefs.com (owners no longer maintain or update site)
Have I missed any site?

Not a large one, but Chris's Underwear Club, uses ccBill I think.
Have to dig out the URL though, I know I have it as a sponsor somewhere in my tangled mess.

There is a new one from SkaterBucks that opened recently: Undie Twinks (http://www.undietwinks.com/)

Bjorn,
I have been looking for one for the past few years. Finally I created my own AEN site. None of these even begin to appeal to what true underwear surfers are looking for. They all need some glamour!

I know.. The best sites i found so far are "personal" blogs with models and good looking guys in underwear.

we have one on the way at brieflads.com (http://www.brieflads.com).
just a holding page there right now but the designs are ready and we are working hard on content. it'll be ready next month.
I'd be interested to know from affiliates - what would work best, small ammount of exclussive content, or a mix of exclussive and non exclussive on a bigger site? Prefferences on billing handlers? Other requests?

Thats great news. Will be a very interesting niche to try out.
Very good question as well. I think something inbetween. You got to have exclusive content or you will simply end up like a couple of the other so called Underwear sites. Which actually just ends up offering very old content from Unique etc which no one actually wants to see.
At the same time, if you only got 2 exclusive video clips and photo sets and nothing else, you will end up looking and being a bad deal for any subscriber no matter who you look at it.
What seems to work for Gaypay.com for example is starting up the site with 10 Exclusive sets (which is both high quality video and picture sets) and then also giving access to all their other sites.
You could do somethign similiar but instead of access to other sites maybe offer access to non exclusive content.
I would also study or see how some of the Underwear fan blogs are doing, what makes guys into underwear tick.. the blogs are the best way of finding out. Even better if you have the time to do it, is to create some sort of sticky "fun" blog with male celebs etc in underwear. again a extra thing for members and for tempting in non members.

i don't mind if the site starts sort of small as long as it's quality. a bunch of unrelated content won't help a fetish site but you could make a bonus section with ounique and maxpixels undie content - but be sure it's clear it isn't your main content. ccbill or epoch are both good processors, and you can actually cascade to one or the other.
well, in a perfect world my perfect underwear site would have:
* exclusive content
* hunky handsome guys
* abercrombie style photography
* both camera and video camera white balanceset correctly for inside room light - in a canon, use the lightbulb pic for white balance. those yellowed rooms can really blow a glamour shoot!
* no fussy couches, room knickknacks or stuff like that visible in the shoots.
in a semi perfect world where nothing is perfect but it's still good stuff:
* exclusive content
* a variety of types of models, all attractive for their niche
* good white balance would still be nice ;)
for either the perfect or semi perfect site, here's what we WOULDN'T see:
we don't want to see content where the guy is out of his underwear and naked - nudity could be acceptable at the very end. non-exclusive underwear content and most photographers seem exist in a world where underwear is an interim thing till we get to the nudity. it's basically there to be taken off - but guys into underwear models don't think that - please leave the underwear on.
no brightly colored cutesy annoying underwear please. it's always safest to supply the models with new packaged underwear - once we started doing that at man of muscle, we stopped having to complain about the guys' posing trunks and shorts.
please, no yellowed rooms, blurry pics. if you're going with boxers as well as briefs, please make sure they fit right. saggy underwear is not sexy.

A glamour underwear site would be one of the hardest to pull off. As Basschick said, a lot has to do with the type of model and the lighting. Think a CK ad taken to the next level. The guys have to be looking like they came out of a CK ad. The editing done PERFECT. If I could find the models and had the editing abilities, I would have done it long ago.
Bought content I would stay away from. It's just not that good what is out there.

Thanks so much for all the advice guys, some great ideas there. The CK ad at the next level will be something to aspire to. Will keep you posted!

Both seem to have a webmaster program.

Boyzinbriefs.com is no longer maintained. so i wouldnt really use that one to really promote the niche.
Underwearstuds, isnt that Condomcash? The problem with that one is the content isnt that great and not either focused on underwear enough.

underweardstuds is not condomcash. I have no idea whose site it is. I saw a link to it from a blog.

Looks like it has good content, just a clusterfuck of a design.
