I'm just going through my e-mail box today and clearing up some backlog.

I just got an e-mail from Jock Cash (Varsity Men and Latin Jocks), but I haven't had an update and they affiliate program sign-up is not yet going to CCBill.

"February 14, 2009
Hey Guys,
You may have noticed that we haven't been sending out our Newsletters the past 6 weeks. We've become increasing concerned about, what we believe is, the inaccurate sales tracking provided by TrackingSoft/Affiliate Tracking and did not
want our sites promoted without proper tracking of Affiliate Sales. As a result, we're in the process of changing our program over to CCBill. We expect this change to be complete within 10 days."

Anyone have any information.

I've spoken to them a couple of times since then. I believe its partly my "fault" that they started to move over to CCBill. I said I wouldnt be prepared to waste more traffic on their sites unless they sorted out their affilaite program. Simply because it wasnt any longer worth it, so many other great Latino sites out there.

Anyways, they are still trying. Not heard from them for a couple of weeks but I think they had every intention of moving over. But just having problems sorting it out.

I'll email them and check on how its going.

Some really weird one.. affiliate tracking I think its called.

It was mainly their payout structure I complained about though, the system I could have survived with.

I just got an e-mail last week that Latin Jocks has moved to a CCBill affiliate program. The site's been redesigned as well.

Great, then I do want to promote their sites again. I stopped promoting them since they couldn't set a minimum for checks. Often I received a check for only 15 dollars. Since cashing a check costs me around 13 euros, I still have some uncashed checks laying around.

Me to, the sites are great but I dropped them due to the billing processor they used and the low rates. I'm now testing them on CCBill.

It costs you 13 euros to cash a check?! That's insane! It costs me nothing to put my check in my bank account. In fact, with a US check I end up with a bit more in Canadian funds due to the exchange rate. Although, that isn't much right now. I am one of those rare Canadians who actually likes it when our dollar drops compared to the US dollar.lol When CAD was about 65 cents to USD, the exchange was amazing! Those were the days....

Most of the employees at the bank know me as "the guy with the checks". When there are new employees, they stare at the checks and they have no clue what to do with those things. So, I help them to fill out all the forms and tell which ones they have to send to their HQ, which ones they have to keep for their own administration and which one is for me. Hahaha

It was about 20 years ago when the checks disappeared here in The Netherlands (and most other European countries).

Maybe you could write and ask that if you return the little checks, they send you just one with the amounts combined.

checks cost up to $20 to deposit in the uk and other euro countries, as well. they work on a paperless system. only a few countries hang onto our pieces of paper.
