Need some advice / suggestions please guys and girls...
This is for, lets call it a hub site if you like.
I will briefly outline what the needs are firstly.
Display of DVD boxcovers that link to the relevant trailers.
Display of all Models associated with a particular DVD.
Display new Models and Model promotions.
Info and marketing of new titles. (news/featured area)
Newsletter sign up.
Click tracking / the usual stats etc.
Payment processing not really required as this is handled elsewhere.
No need for any affiliate support/tools here either.
That is the basic outline, My first thoughts were to just build the site as is and have it pull the info from a mysql database, and just more or less keep it updated by placing the new info straight into the database fields... Or make a simple input page whatever...
That is all very well if it was just myself keeping it updated, but this may not be the case...
So the question is do you guys know of a program that kind of fits the role here? ... Is a paysite CMS the ideal program or is there something more suitable?
