Another plug for natnet. Simply superb, and nothing remotely comparable as far as my experience with about a dozen other hosts in the past 8 years.

thanks guys for the recommendations
I've been with the same host almost since I started in this business. So long in fact they have gone through several mergers:
RackShack > EV1 Servers > The Planet
I really have no complaints. I rarely need their assistance but when I do, they seem competent enough. They're pretty generous with bandwidth. At least they used to be. I think my plan is grandfathered in. That's probably the main reason I've stayed.

NatNet has the best support of any hosting company I have worked with, hands down.

I can speak for National Net and Choopa as well. Both excellent service.

Choopa has a good price on 100Mbps unmetered and a real sweet setup on a 1 gig unmetered for $4k. Gotta love not having Cogent traffic as well.

Can you really push 1gig through a single server? I always though 100-200 mbit would be the max for most potent machines.

That would be tough, but I am sure they would setup a few boxes. $4k is not a bad price for a 1 gig line. Plus, it doesn't have Cogent at all.

You're right, 4k$ sounds really good for a dedicated 1 gig line!!
