Current Economy affecting Porn?

In another Thread Adam mentioned how he had recieved emails from subscribers asking how to cancel their membership, because they need to save money.

Have anyone else seen any effects of the current economic climate having a impact on your sites or sales?

Are sales down, members cancelling quicker? Are people less willing to spend on porn? Are there any REAL facts or signs?

the problem is that although we can assume the issue is the economy, retention can slow for other reasons, and there's rarely a way to know what the real reason is.

we used to get emails that said that all the time years ago with our shemale paysite. and i'm talking about a time where the economy was strong. funny that adam is just getting them now, but maybe niche affects this. it would be interesting to know if most of the emails he's getting are coming from the u.s. or another country - and whether most were coming from the same country.

Well, I am seeing healthy sales with the exception of the US, which are down around 10 - 15%.
