looking for a wp theme...

a while back, i found a wp theme that was simple and posts looked like they were written in a notebook. anyone happen to know what theme that was?

There was a post by Bjorn about how much he liked a notebook theme a few months ago. A number of people commented and Pocoloco said it was called "Notepad Chaos".

Should be okay, heck I am using a 1.5 theme without any problems, depends on if it uses any addons.. there is a newer version 2.0 and the link for it is in my second post.. problem is, some of the function calls for wp have been changed quite a bit... depends I think on how minimal the code is..may need a bit of hacking

Or you could ask me to adjust the widths on your CSS whistle

but the notebook background is a certain width. michael could widen the css, but the background would repeat, wouldn't it?

If memory serve me right, the background is a repeated image, and would simply need to be enlarged to fill more space, then adjusting the column widths in css would further make it seemless. Might need 3 images to be extended, top, middle, bottom.

I think they use a repeating image format, so to widen it, you need to extend the css that calls for a specific width for that column, and also insure the images being used are wide enough to accomodate the width change you make.

If it is a fixed width style, you'd have to extend that css command as well.

actually as far as the width, i just checked the image and it would be easy to widen the notebook on it, although it is defined by the image. then i'd have to have the css recognize that the right column isn't so wide... it's definitely doable.

This theme is build with repeated backgrounds indeed. Shouldn't be too hard to make this theme wider.

Hon, it's a simple matter of slicing out a small piece of that background and adding it back on to make a longer image. Tell me what size you want the image and i'll do it up for you.
