when is it time to start a new project?

some webmasters i know start a new project when they feel like they're getting stale - actually that's often when i do it. others only start one when they've mapped everything out, finished projects that can be finished and have everything else just so. and the rest seem to just start everything at once - they tend to get overwhelmed.

so at what point do you think it's time to start a new project?

as i often loose "interest" in what i am doing when i get to the borring parts like putting the final touches to the php programming etc i almost always have 3-5 projects that are waiting for me to finish them - so i never wait for them to be done before starting something new...

So i guess i just jump into a project when-ever i get an idea that i think will work..

however i dont think i am overwhelmed by this approch but some of my projects probably spend more time in development due to me being to lazy to put the finishing touches to them...
